Arien, it's great to hear your story. I've known you a while now and I did not know all of that!

oh, goodness. i just went back and noticed i haven't added. (duh). sowwy. ok, well, for me; i really think i was born this way. i remember, as a small child, just learning to write. (maybe 5 or 6?) and i always thought about things i learned in church. it was always very important to me. (i was raised baptist). i wrote a note, in my best preschool writing, to God saying, "dear God, i love you. love, me". i folded the note into the tiniest thing i could, stood on a chair in my room and reached up as far as i could to give it to the Divine. after i couldn't reach anymore, i sat down and cried because He wouldn't take my note. lol. kids, huh? but, that's the first thing that i can ever remember of feeling spiritual and i've been this way ever since. (of course, i learned why He didn't take it as i grew older. lol) i was raised in church by my mother and exposed to the 'other' realms and side of things by my dad, who was, to say the least, VERY gifted. i always questioned things in church and was always told i shouldn't. that didn't make sense. i question everything. lol. so, i just followed my heart. what seems right and true to me, i go with it. what doesn't, i don't. i guess it all boils down to trying to help my spirit grow and to be the best person i can be. i've had many lessons in my life, from many different sources, religions and spiritual practices. i know, too, that as this path began with my birth, it will only end with my passing. i'm a perpetual student and very happy with it. lol. ok, so, that was the best nutshell i could get. if i got into any part of it too deep, i'd be rambling BAD!! lolol.....
