To add to our "getting to know one another....."
What do you do in "real life?" Like, in order to pay the bills....
Personally, I am an Xray Technologist/Mammographer.

All these questions are so good. I don't get paid, at least not in cash. I am a home engineer. I get paid in smelling the wonderful smell of fresh laundy and the yuk smell of laundry needing to be washed. Rushing a child out to door to not miss the bus and the sign of relief when I see the bus picking her up...well I think you all get the idea.
I worked as an Assistant Controller for a mulit million (true, but really sounds good, huh) Afterward a lot of physical issues came up and now I am fighting Social Security to receive disability benefits.
Any Reiki sent for this situation to happen is greatly appreciated

I had a "real job" a number of years ago that I left to do what I do now... lets just say it was diving intervention that got me where I am now! I feel like my lives work is helping people heal and connect with themselves on a more spiritual path. Now what I do, as you all know is teach Reiki, and do Readings along with the crafts and jewelery I sell online... I wouldn't call that work though because its not a lot of money and whatever money I get I put back into what I am doing so I can build it into an actual store one day. I also write, but I havent been writing much lately because I have been really taking it easy. I know in this lifetime I will be publishing several books, but not for a few years. I have some more learning to accomplish that! Oh yea,,, good question Joanie! Thanks for asking

I'm a website editor for a legal publication's website. I also teach Reiki and meditation and do treatments & angel readings at night and on the weekend. I often feel like the Reiki stuff is my real life! Everything else...not too bad either Namaste, Christine

I'm a router operator. I run a computer-controlled router that cuts designs and window rebates on doors. But I work to live, not live to work, and agree with you all that reiki and learning are my REAL jobs!

um, I'ma stick my head in here! lol I am an at home mother, like a few here. I am a Reiki Master/Teacher, lol, like Star, it's not really something that pulls the money in, and what money does come in goes right back into it. Seems my aspirations are similar to Miss Stars. Though eventually I want to open an academy for helaing and spiritual growth. We have one Academy of Reiki here in Brisbane, but because they are 'Government Accredited' courses, they cost a fortune. I want to make Reiki and spiritual development accessable to everyone, no matter their financial status. I have A LOT to learn before I will be in a position to do that though. lmao, and a lot of money to earn!

Hey! How'd I miss this so many times?
I am a one on one assistant for special learners. My Autistic student and I will be in the 5th grade next year! And I'll be in College after September. My previous life (before Fibromyalgia) was as a Stock Brokers assistant... yeah you can see the divine intervention there lol!
I Love my work. I feel working with and speaking for Autistic Kiddo's is my calling and purpose. Spiritual Healing has now become something I do on the side but it's a huge part of my life that I incorporate into daily life and my work.
