I come across some of the most adorable animal pictures sometime when I am stumbling around,,, so I thought I would start a thread where we could share those pictures... Cause I know if im seeing them,, there are others seeing them too! My grandmother on my moms side loved elephants like I love cows,,, she had figurines all over,,, they are such magistic creatures, huh?  |

The elephant is my reiki totem. It has been on my reiki journey with me from day one! I love them so much...ssssooooo much!

P.S. What's a reiki totem everyone keeps mentioning? Is it anything like Native American totem animals?

Elfie, I think it's pretty much the same thing. Many of us have guides/totems that have come along since starting with Reiki. I know for me I call on my guides and totem animals to help me heal myself and and send Reiki to others. My main totem is a black panther.

hmm....not sure about a 'reiki totem', but i know a few of my life totems. i wonder..........have to meditate on one just for reiki. now ya'll got me started. lol.

My reiki totem is an elephant. When I was first attuned to reiki, I had a vision during the process. It was a small elephant - a baby. I thought it was the coolest thing. Then, at my second attunement, I saw a bigger elephant. During sessions, the elephant would come again. And by my final attunement, I had a vision of a huge elephant. I connected the dots at that point and realized that that animal is my totem, helping me as a healer. It is my reiki totem! I love elephants!!!
