What do you like to do on the weekends? I'm just curious george... I get every 2nd Friday off with my job, so I woke up today and am going to start...BAKING. Yep, I'm a bakeaholic. I love to bake all sorts of things. Today I'm making Buns Egg nog bread Cashew chocolate bread Perogies Saffy's Chocolate Crinkle Cookies and a few other goodies to stick into baskets for my friends.

What time will be good to taste everything...yummmmmmmy
Since I am a stay at home mom, my weekends aren't too much different, except that I will catch up on things I didn't do during the week. I still get up early, play on the computer for a while and clean, laundry and watch football if is on. I will go to my daughters often. I love seeing her more than when she lived here.
But short story...really no different than any other day..work in the house and be with Sara.

Hmmmm...sometimes it's going to visit my brother in the city or the in-laws a couple hours in the opposite direction. Other times it's catching up on house work that got neglected because I have such odd hours at work. Then of course I sometimes do crafty stuff, read, play here on the 'puter, go out with friends. I haven't done and baking in awhile....hmmm...maybe you'll inspire me cause I love to bake and you've just listed such a yummy sounding one...mmmmmm.....

well, for me, i'm a stay at home mom, too, but on the weekends we always have friends come over, we grill some awesome food, whoever drinks will have 'totties', music playing, if it's cold we'll have the bonfire going. just a nice relaxing time of friends. it's alot of fun and laughing going on. that's mostly it. but, tonight, the hubby and i have his company christmas dinner and awards thingy. after, we'll do what we always do. lol.

I am addicted to the computer (like you all didnt know) and I love to play in my garden on the weekend... Thats my biggest hobby at the moment,,, getting the garden completed,,, at least completely started... If that makes sense? I have expanded it this season so I am not quite finished,,, but I love growing stuff Other then that I do my crafts, go to the beach occassionally and just veg,,, yea vegging is nice!

Well, they don't call me Veggiechef because I like to make salads. I could make vegging out on the couch a sport. I'm on my feet all week long at work, so I enjoy playing home-body on the weekends. I am such a hermit. I like going shopping and seeing museums and travelling, but a little of that goes a long way for me. I'm perfectly happy to stay at home and bake, craft, crochet or paint.

I work a lot during the week--office job during the day and often teaching Reiki at night or going to the gym. Weekends I try to have no plans and spend time just hanging out sleeping, watching movies, etc. But I often do more Reiki related stuff on the weekend.

What do I like doing on weekends? As little as possible! Nah, just kidding. I usually end up going to a friends or vice versa, going fishing, I used to love going to the movies as much as possible, but it costs $14.50 AUD now, which is disgusting. 10 years ago, it cost $7. Inflation much? I only go now if it's something I HAVE to see on the big screen! In fact, the last one I did see on the big screen was "Transformers", and that was in July! d**n.
Some days I end up in front of the computer all day, some I read all day, and when it gets a bit cooler here I'm going to start bushwalking again. Can't wait to go camping again too!
