OMG Star those are absolutely amazing!
I would never guess those were your first's! There were several classes up at the store I used to work at and many people would try all sorts of cool things after wards and NOTHING looked as cool as yours! And heck you haven't even been to classes!
Sloan I just loved the bracelet and the necklace you made. That wrapped piece is awesome! I just love all this new cool stuff to look at!
Very cool! Oh...And I know absolutely nothing about wire wrapping except alot of people bought copper spools to wrap with and they said it was cheaper.
So Star have you listed any of the new wired stuff on the jewelry site? I keep checking it and oohing and ahhhing over what I want. Sort of like my "wish book" as my Mom and I used to call it when we got catalogs to look at.
All that ramble said...I have to get some new stuff for work and there are a couple of things I want to get. Just wondered about the new stuff (raised eyebrows three times in typical rock addict fashion) I'm just trying to choose the right thing yanno? Cuz the people I work with are all very very Conservative. Might have to add your wired stuff to my list! I really REALLY Love it!

I am glad you likey Elaine,,,, I know we chatted on the phone but yea I am glad you like.... I have been a slacker on my websites.... Just been consumed with surgery and thinking about that and trying to get all my ducks in order I havent listed anything new....
What necklaces on my website now do you consider conservative though,,, like pieces you would wear to work? I would love to hear input on that because I am trying new stuff with jewelery all the time... I am stocking up on beads galore so when I am recovering I can do that if I want to just chill,,, it really gets my mind in a good place when I make jewelery.... So tell me what you like on my site for work,,, and maybe I can go from there....
I am glad you like the idea of me being a rock pusher Kristi,,, I do too LOL and all of my fellow rock-a-holic friends will tooo hehehehehe.... I really want to open a storefront, a physical one, one day,,, and sell gemstones, books, candles jewelery etc through there... Thats been my dream for a while now and it's coming more rapidly then I anticipated actually.... I love the idea of buying gemstones in bulk though,,, just the thought of having lots of them in my house while I build a collection and sell some online before I open my store is exciting to me!!

K, another couple magazines would be Bead Style, Beading with Gemstones, and a book that I want to go get is Celtic Wire and Bead Work...hopefully I can find that one this weekend.

I lucked out, I made sure I typed into their database to see if they had in stock before I went...I didn't want to be disappointed...I made one the rings in it last night...I just need to get a bigger mandrel now...sigh...more things to get! teehee feeding my add...I mean affinity!lol

Oh take a picture of the ring Sloan, I would LOVE to see! I got a ton of beads in the mail while I was in the hospital and my mom and I went to get my other stuff from the house today so I am going to play with my new beads later. My dad bought me this wire wrapping kit, which is a bunch of videos, tools, practice wire and other stuff,,, as a coming home present... It hasnt arrived yet but soon.... I am really looking forward to getting that, I have been thinking about getting it for a while so it's going to be fun to have some direction  I am really glad I got addict... ummm got an affinity for making jewelery,,, it's so fun!! |

mmmm, I was bad and order another jumbled of stones like I posted before, wait...sigh...I admit it, it was 2 orders really of stones, I can't wait and see what this order brings me!! I'll have LOTS of stones to play with and make stuff with!!
