I did this on the General Chit Chat because I think a lot of people don't look at the About you section...did I sneak one in?

I see all kinds of people reading this board. I'm sure you have many experiences in your life and I know I would love to know about them. I don't want to force anyone to do anything but think about sharing. Lets get to know each other again, ok.

Here's some questions...some may be repeats. Only answer the ones you want. Inquiring minds want to know.

Why did you join a Healing forum?

Are you interested in learning more about energy healing?

What is a modality you would like to know about? You can say more than one.

I would really like to learn about some of the new people and even some of the ones that have been around a while. I know you are out there, please share.

Why did you join a Healing forum?

I wanted to learn from people who have had different experiences and share mine. I had a hard time opening up, but writing is so much easier than talking in person.


Are you interested in learning more about energy healing?

Yes. I love the ability to increase my vibration and I feel this is a great step in that direction.


What is a modality you would like to know about? You can say more than one.

I'm really interested in the Lightaterian Reiki.

I have everything and I am just waiting to feel ready myself. I have the manual and have tried reading it a few times but apparently I'm not yet ready for this step. There are quite a few modalities I would like to receive but everything in time.


Do you practice positive thinking? How?

Absolutely. I practice as often as I think about it. It's not really hard. I do positive statements first thing in the morning right before I brush my teeth. I've done this so much it feels like I forgot something through the day if I miss it. During the day if I find myself having negative thoughts I tried to catch myself and turn it into a positive. Even tell myself to think positive things first thing in the morning.


Have you succeeded in manifesting even the smallest thing in your life? What?

This sounds weird, but it worked. The first thing was a parking space close to the door. On the way to the store I said, Universe please provide me a close parking space and you know, usually I did get one. Try it. I have also manifested a positive attitude. With that I think I can manifest anything.


What color are your eyes? (Ok...just curious)

My eyes are brown. Apparently I am filled to the brim with, well, I'm sure you have heard it before.


Do you use a proxy to send distant Reiki, if so what?

I usually do not use a proxy. I do have a wonderful little bear my daughter gave me and do use it from time to time.


Do you have any collections, statues, stamps, etc ?

I do. I have a nice collection of crystals and minerals. I have a collection of angels statues my mom started for me and my daughters have continued. I've been getting fairies, but I don't have that many. Almost forgot. I love fountains. I've been collecting them. That's pretty fun since there really isn't a huge selection out there. I do have a tendency to go OCD on things I get in my head.

I post a lot on the forum so a lot is out there. But I've been working on my confidence and self esteem for a while. I am a professional procrastinator, too.

Yes, many things, this forum, another community called Spirit Connections, my websites, businesses and hmmm a good "rock" habit... LOL I love my rocks and crystals!

Sometimes, but sometimes i use myself to send distant reiki

I love the connection with others, sharing and learning from others in the Healing world. It is nice to have a place to visit with Like minds

I love the energy! It is as though I just cannot get enough or learn enough about it. I have been a nurse for over 30 years and always believed there was more to healing than just covering or treating the symptoms. Becoming a massage therapist and being connected to Reiki, has totally changed my perspective on a lot of things!!

What is a modality you would like to know about? You can say more than one.
I just got the information on Kundalini Reiki and on Excalibur Reiki. Starlene's list shows there is so much more out there to learn and experience

Do you practice positive thinking? How?
I do. I try to live it. I use Creative Questions and focus on the Law of Attraction... I always try to find a better feeling and to be positive and Be Happy, Be Joyful, appreciate all that I have been given...

Have you succeeded in manifesting even the smallest thing in your life? What?
Yes, i have used the Law of Attraction and my Creative Questions. In fall of 2007, I wanted a newer car, even just a few years newer. I cut out a picture of it, put it up and imagined what it would feel like to have it. I asked my brother, who goes to auctions, he found a 2007 HHR Silver with just 3,000 miles on it! It was amazing. that is a larger manifestation that was created.
My husband and I love to travel on our Goldwing. We had an older one, 1993 and wanted a newer one. We were able to manifest the money and purchased a new one in 2007 and have over 22,000 miles on it already

I gues they are called hazel, they have a blue outer ring with gold, green flecks and brown.
Do you do iridology?

Yes, i have a Purple teddy bear, with a cute smile holding a purple heart.

I love crystals and stones, have a collection of thimbles, Pictures of my grandchildren and that I have taken on our motorcyle journeys, books on Reiki , essential oils

When you have so many attunements to different types of Reiki, do you just use whatever you are inspired to use?

Nope, I dont know much about iridology.. Do you?

And yes, I use the systems I am inspired and guided to use when doing Reiki, usually one will come to me or certain symbols will come to me and thats how I do it

I agree with Star. There are times one modality is used for a while and then whatever I feel needs to be used. I do have to go through the list every once in a while to refresh my memory. Star has so many more.

I don't know anything about iridology, in fact I didn't even think about that, but that's a cool thing to look into.

Thank you for the answers. I had a feeling that would be the answers. I do not always remember the VFR symbols but they come to me when I need them So cool!

I dont' do iridology but wondered if that was the reason for the question about eye color.
The last time I had an eye exam the doctor made a comment about the unusual coloring in my eyes. They have changed from DARK Brown almost black to these interesting colors. I may do some research on it as well.
