Jewelery making!

Tonight I took a beginning jewelery class at a bead store. It was SO fun! I made a necklace with alternating amazonite and picture jasper beads with a fairy charm in the middle! Once I finally start using my digital camera I can post a picture

There was one other person in the class who was asking the teacher about metaphysical properties of the stones...the teacher didn't know so I mentioned I used to work at a new age store. We were talking more about crystals and I even charged up some of the stuff we made with Reiki

It was fun! I'm hoping to go back next week for the wire-wrapping class.

I'm putting things on my uh, list, I am putting some things together and learn some new ones...and that's on my list as one of the first.

I had never really done it before. about 12 yrs ago my ex boyfriend and I had gotten a scoop of random beads to make me a necklace but I think he did all the wiring. I am one of these people who needs to do things herself to really learn. This class tonight was good for that.

I can see how this could get to be a very expensive hobby for me though
