I have never seen anything like this. They are absolutely wonderful.
8 oz cream cheese
1 stick of butter
3 egg yolks
3 t vanilla
3/4 cup sugar
2 loafs bread (day old bread great)
Cream all ingredients together except bread.
Cut crust off bread and roll flat
Spread mixture and cut the cut the bread from bottom to top
Cut in half.
Brush each with melted butter and roll in cinnamon/sugar mixture (these are separte from the cream mixture)
Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes
yummy ymm....I gotta make these now. I know it sounds weird, but they are so so good.
