Shamballa Reiki

Does anyone have experience with Shamballa Reiki? I am interested in being attuned to it.

My old roommate did Shamballa; he said it is not exactly Reiki but is another energy that is very similar. I enjoyed his treatments, they felt very grounding to me.

Hi Kristi,,,, I know Shamballa MDH and Shamballa 1024,,, apparently there are different levels of it like that. I believe there is a further level then Shamballa MDH but I have not received it... The Shamballa I know uses the Usui symbols, then the Karuna symbols and it adds other synbols like the antakarana and ones that I think are unique to Shamballa... The thought behind Shamballa MDH is that it comes with certain symbols and then you channel them on your own after that, which is one of the reasons I really liked that modality...

Being that I am attuned to Usui and am a Karuna Reiki(R) master it appealed to me... When I was on eBay selling attunements though, someone wrote me telling me they were the founder of Shamballa and asked me not to sell attunements because the MDH which is what I know can not be given distantly and there is another level to Shamballa anyhow. I confirmed he was who he says he was, and in all reality I have been attuned to all the symbols anyhow and have channeled some of my own so I was confused about what to do... I did take the auction down though.... He said it was copywritten but the information I received from the person who attuned me was apparently written by the person who channeled it and it was NOT copywritten.... So instead of arguing or making a fuss I let it go...

Karuna Ki is similar to Shamballa as well as Tera Mai... Any of those attunements are great, I would love more information about Shamballa Reiki actually, I was sort of sad when that happened with the founder of Shamballa and myself... I missed using it.

I think there is a lot of conflicting info out there. I have found several sites that sell distant attunements for Shamballa MDH and 1024. I'm not sure what to think. I read about it in one of Christopher Penzak's books, and felt really drawn to it. I'll check out Karuna Ki and Tera Mai, maybe they will work for now.

I'd like to know/learn more about Shamballa too. I can attest that Karuna Ki is wonderful (Starry attuned me) and It's just a very loving energy and I really like it! Ut-oh another thing to add to "the list" is to write a testimonial on it LOL!

I have been attuned to Shamballa also. It is a very intense and a lot of infomation. I have not had the same experience as Star, so I still practice a lot, included with the Usui Reiki. My attunement was powerful and had a long period of recoup, so to speak. I think it is also something you need to maintain practicing.

No I was not, however it was one of the most, if not the most powerful attunement ever. The man sent me a few stones to hold and one even jumped out of my hand. I think most attunements can be sent distant, however I do there are some that can't. If someone knows this as being one, the experience I had was something very powerful, so...as almost everyone has said, there is so much comflicting information, you just need to find what you need/want out of each attunement and take it from there.

Thanks for the info, I want to try a distant attunement. I have had all my attunments distant, and it always works great for me.

Shamballa is pretty potent energy to say the least. I havent been doing much energy work or meditation the past couple of months, been so busy and everything else. But I tap into it when I need to. Its something that should be practiced to be maintained, but its always there, since we / everything is energy. It is a higher vibrational energy than Reiki alone, the symbols are more for people who need to visualize or have that tangible aspect, but you can actually just turn it on / off at will after awhile. Anyways... nice to be here, I was invited by another member and hope to participate from time to time
