I know many of us are attuned to different modalities of Reiki... I was wondering which you used most and why?
My favorite is Karuna Reiki, but I also love Usui (of course) Celtic and Blue Star Energy System. Depending on the situation though I am inclined to use other systems,,, like Karmic Reiki to help one heal the past or Light Dream to help one sleep better... I like having a lot of different things in my "bag of tricks" to help others with...
Soooo which are your favorites??

I use Usui Reiki the most. I feel like it encompasses all the others; however sometimes I'll use something else when I feel drawn to pull in a specific band of Reiki energy (not sure if that makes sense)! For instance, if I sense the client needs more joy, I might bring in Fairy Light RayKey. I also use Silver Violet Flame a lot for protection before doing readings or when I'm around negative people. Tell me onething,why there are so many versions of reiki when the source is the same for everything?im very curious to know the answer.

I love Usui, but I have started adding others too. Since I've received the Fairy RayKey, it has brought up other Fairy modalities that I have been attuned to. And I find myself wiggling my toes and twitching while sending. I have used Celtic, but I'm not really comfortable using it much

Devi,
To me there is one Source for healing energy and yet it manifests itself as so many different types of healing so that it will resonate with different people. I feel like this is why there are so many religions even though there is One Divine--certain people and cultures are going to be more drawn to one of them.

I just mix it all together. I use Usui symbols with Kundalini techniques, and toss in a little Quantum Touch and Ethereal Crystals. I think it's all the same energy, and all the different techniques work together just great.

Yea I agree with what Christine said about it being one source that people just identify with differently. I also think that some symbols or techniques are helpful for specific things so that is why I think knowing different modalities is helpful. |

Ya I love Christines explanation, it rocks! Me, I like to incorporate whatever feels right at the time. Most times lately it's been Usui with Celtic and Ethereal Crystal...not sure why but it's felt right.

Wow, I feel like an inferior here, lol. I'm level 1 Usui and everyone else seems to use about twenty different things. I've have to ask though, what is Celtic and Ethereal Crystal? They jumped out at me as soon I read them and I've learned not to ignore anything that jumps!

Hi Elfie, Dont feel inferior sweetie! We are all on different pathways with Reiki,,, we all had to start at level one,,, sometime! So dont let that make you feel inferior!  Celtic Reiki is an attunement that comes from the energies of trees and other plants. It is a very cool energy, with lots of symbols. Ethereal Crystals allows you to use crystal energy without actually having to have the crystal in your presence. If you like you can read about both of those modalities on my website... There are so many to choose from, both Celtic and Etherals are great. When you see other attunements offered you will be surprised.

Very interesting, now I think I know why those two were jumping at me! Thanks for the info, I'll have to look into those a bit further when I have the time (whose idea was it to only have 24 hours in a day anyway!)
