ok, i said i'd share more as they bloomed. well, we have alot of things around here that are beautiful in bloom, so as they do, i just wish i could share this beauty with the world. looksee.....
here's the bluebell tree that i wrote a poem about and posted today. it's partially bloomed and partially seeding, so that's the dark spots ya see.
this is the dogwood across the clearing. this pic does NOT do it justice, though, by any means, but maybe cuz it's a cloudy day. but usually, it's the most vibrant stark white amidst the darkening green.
this is just one of MANY flowering shrubbies that i nicnamed 'pretty pinks'. they open when it's shadier, cloudy or in the early morning and evening, but close when it's too bright, hot or the middle of the day. they are awesome. anyhoo, i show one now, but i have a large circle of them in the middle of my side yard that i'll show when it fully blooms.
this is just my front yard, but i find it so beautiful before the grass gets cut. there's a field of white clover that leads into a sea of tiny yellow flowers. quite lovely.
and, finally, this is just the early stages of our garden. our lettuces are doing great, cabbages you can see, but the other things are just getting going, so updates will be needed. lol.
just one more funny fact, before i go. when i came back inside to share these, i felt a tickle on my belly. i look down and there was the cutest lime green catepillar on the bottom of my shirt. so cute! they'll fall off the trees sometimes. i had to go out and put him on my rose bush. lol. that reminds me; just you wait till the roses bloom! some are starting, but i wanted to wait till they are fully bloomed before i share. (yes, that means the faery arch too. it's almost there!)
