I love caves,,, when I was a little girl my dad took me in one and I have been facinated from them since.... its like a WHOLE other world down there.... (Not to mention there are also a lot of rocks and stuff down there too hehe) anywho I found this website called the Virtual Cave... It is sooooo cool! ohhh la la! I am planning on driving north to see my family the last weekend in June,,, then staying that week with them,, and July 5th (Saturday) driving down to Saffy's place and taking it from there... What do you think? I guess Sunday Saffy and I could drive to Kentucky and get a hotel,,, and meet all of you then? Let me know what your all thinking... Was talking to the resident Fairie today and she also brought up that we could look to see what else was around there in Kentucky,,, maybe find a crystal dig somewhere.... so lets start looking,,, now that we have a starting point and date  Kristi,, if you and Rhonda are flying,,, I will help with whatever you need transportation wise,,, like pick u up from the airport etc,,, if needed... Just let me know! I am so excited!!! hehehe can you tell? |

so, this would be the week of july 5 or a day later or what? hubby needs to know the exact week we'd be talking of. also, i need to know the dates too, so as to make sure school won't be during that time. i just thought of that today, actually. i'm hoping to start the summer semester, but i'm not sure when the semester starts, so i need to get my dates in order. lol. i'll call the school tomorrow and find out their date of start, so ................. (shrugs). if the dates don't over lap, then it's a done deal for me. if they do.................well, i'm going to still see if i can manage it. lol. (but i'm still counting myself in!!!)

I guess if we drive down on Sunday, that would be the 6th of July. We can get a hotel room. Maybe we can get that ahead so if anyone else needs a room we can stay in the same hotel. I will be bringing Sara, I'm not sure who else brings kids. We can figure out home many rooms we need. Of course I don't want to stay is a Ritz, but I would prefer not the bottom of the barrel either. Star, maybe you and I can get together and find exactly where and get a hotel or two and check prices, well I mean I will. What do you all think? There may be other sites around there also.

well, ya know i'm bringing my rugrats. no other option there. plus we're working in our own family time, too, so all of us will be there. lol. yeah, lemme know what hotel ya'll think on.

ive been looking at cabins.... i was waiting for my sister to call me back this week to call and see about empty ones because since I am going to see my sister first and am staying with her,,, shes telling me now that shes going camping that week,,, so i might just skip seeing her and coming to see you Saffy.... thats a bummer too cause i want to see my grandma.... im going to make my sister answer me this weekend,,, ill call my mom LOL!! and then i can give you all a more definite date and call cabins and stuff.... and u can get tickets Kristi... im going,,, for sure,,, that week,,,july 6th or 7th,,, not sure which day,, but i am going! im gonna email everyone once i know from my sister.... and we can start a thread in the L.F. and keep our plans organized in one place ((hugs)) |
