k, question; why is this thought to be such a trying time? i always hear of how mercury goes retrograde and causes problems, but the thing is, i am a gemini and mercury is my ruling planet and i haven't found that it causes any problems for me. in fact, i'm usually even more chipper and positive and everything seems to flow smoothly for me. is this just me or does it have something to do with my birth sign/planet? i dunno, but here's the warning anyway. lol. good luck to those who this does affect.

Well Mercury is the ruler of those things, communication, travel, electronic devices... It really depends on where Mercury is in your natal chart as to how it will effect someone. Some people have a favorable placement of Mercury in their natal (birth) chart and therefore they have a favorable time when a favorable aspect like Mercury in retro pops up. Some people are the opposite and have a whole slew of things happen to them during those times...

So if your telling me that you have it easier to communicate, travel, deal with electronics during the Mercury Retro period I would venture to say it has something to do with your natal chart and how that affects you in the present time....

Did I ever do a transit report for you? It is sort of like a horoscope, but its just for you and the time and place you were born. Let me know if I didn't and I will do one for you, maybe we can figure out the favorable transits in your chart that makes you and Mercury retro so compatible!

For me, being an air sign, I notice that I am affected by the Mercury retro periods but sometimes those periods are not bad and sometimes its like OMG,, classic Mercury in retro. I attribute the different energies surrounding me at the Mercury retro time because there are just different aspects going on that are either favorable or not favorable to me. You know what I mean?
