These are the mystery rocks my kids got me when we were on vacation They know how to make mommy happy heheheheh! :sonnewolken: with the flash... without flash... i figure two pics are easier to tell what they look like

oh wwwwooooowwwww! faery eyes are glazed over........................OH, okies, what are they? hmm.....well, i have several of these and i'm not sure on all of them, but a few do look dyed.....................the green and yellow COULD be dyed howlite. they do dye it alot. usually, blue, but there's also real blue howlite. anyhoo, those look like it to me, with the black veining and all..................are you sure that darker green at the top isn't moldavite? uhhh.......oh yeah, that black and pink one to the left; does it have tiny bits of goldish looking flecks in it? i have a piece that looks just like that and i have NO idea what it is, but i wanna know! lol. that clear oblong one to the right looks like clear calcite. the white and blue at the bottom right is sodalite. i have a piece almost just like it, shape and all. lol. the other blue one above it looks like a rough piece of lapis. does it have any flecks? some pieces look alot like that one. i have a piece of that ddarkish red too and i dunno that one either. the bright purple one in the middle top is dyed agate. i have several pieces of that in several colors. i'd recognize them a mile away. lol.the purple one next to it looks so much like charoite, but i'm not sure with the dark veins. it really looks like charoite, though. oh oh oh, the green one on the second row, it may be chrysoprase............okies, now i have to get my boook, see what you've done. i've guessed all i can, now i gots to break out the big book!!! be back shortly!

I wanna try symbols and stuff but we'll see. What type of stone do you suggest starting off with?
Oh and for the stones (above) Looks like turquoise to me. Someone already said do I didn't have anything new to add. What ever it is it's really pretty.
