Ok so. I hope I do this right. I've never posted stones on here. Today my friend gave me some really cool stones so I thought I'd share. This one is Red Obsidian that Peggy found in Arizona (she went to one of the crystal mining places they have there) Then this is a crystal I choose out of a bucket of other crystals she mined there: It was pretty neat washing the clay off of them and seeing what beauty was under all that dirt yanno? It was like ok this one looks neat then it was like WOW this is REALLY neat yanno? Ok that's all I got.

Oh, unfortunately no orb. Just a light reflection in this case. The light is right above where I was holding the picture. Would have been cool if it were though! I do have another picture of some "slag glass" or Andara Glass had my brother grab for me while in Hawaii. I stuck them on one of my hubby's black t-shirt for these so the reflections wouldn't be so bad LOL! And these are some Arizona Crystals I bought off ebay a few months ago. I wanted some after a friend Anara gave me a crystal out of a bowl of them she had gotten from there. I was like I want a BOWL full of crystals! Tee Hee Hee! They are just really clear from there. I really love them!

Having a bowl full of crystals is pretty cool. After a visit with my friend Anara she told me I could grab a piece out of there and I felt like a kid in a candy store LOL! Sometimes I'll just pick one at random out of the bowl and send Reiki to it when I send for like the Reiki share or just to someone distantly and have this crystal represent the person. Then I'll place it back in the bowl with all the other crystals with the intention of all of that good crystal-y energy being sent too! As far as my slag glass...I guess it does look like golden calcite. It's a pretty inexpensive piece of it but I like it and am grateful my brother found it. I would like to have a nicer piece one day. It's said it is very good for healings so I really wanted some. Alot of times you can find really clear slag glass but it's more expensive. The piece I have is light in feel and clear in places and you can tell if I tapped it hard or dropped it it would shatter... or at least break into small chunks, like obsidian but it isn't exactly like obsidian. Its made of of different "stuff". But I did find some places on Ebay calling it "Andara Obsidian" Check this pink piece out I would love to have! I know... oooooo prrrrrrettttty! You can find it on ebay. I did a google search to try and find info to post here about it but there is so much on ebay About it just type in Andara or slag glass or Andara Obsidian. And now OF COURSE now that we're on this and looking through all the pretty pictures I found I'm wanting more! Ok ramble girl out...

oh yes, i agree its wonderful to have a dish of stnes,,, i have a matching star (to my heart) shaped glass dish that is filled to the brim with little tumbled rocks,,, most of which I can identify,,, a few i am stumped on... i bought those stones for the same purpose to give out to friends and family that come over.... i also like to thumb through them sometimes and pick up a certain one... the star shaped bowl lives on my coffee table just for that,,, so ima fill up the heart bowl with quartz like that very good idea! I still dont know what slag glass is,,, how is it made or am i being lazy and should just look it up lol

Well I'm not sure I can answer that cuz now I'm confused about what Slag glass even is LOL! It was my thinking or understanding that Slag was another name for natural occuring glass and that it's sometimes called Andara Crystal Glass or Obsidian but there is some way they manufacture glass that is marble in look that is called "slag". It looks like this: I've been to shows that have tables and tables of what will say "slag" glass and it looks to be naturally occuring like obsidian or sea glass. Like this: Either way I'm not sure what "makes" it. Like what amount of silicon and what amount of minerals and what condition's created. I found this HUGE article on it if you wanna skim thought it. www.dnaalchemy.com/Properties_of_Andara_Crystals.htmlit's alot to post here. It goes all into the first piece found and all this other stuff. I just skimmed to this part: "ANDARA CRYSTAL GLASS *Expand states of awareness *Increase access to universal knowledge *Activates the ability for channeling *Accelerates the spiritual development process *Creates a bridge between ethereal and physical dimensions Andara Crystals have been placed at all the sacred sites on the planet, in the temple and the pyramid in Egypt. They have created a healing field surrounding this planet. Each Andara Crystal connects and links with all the others and the sites and information at that location is available to those who can connect with their hearts and minds." I'm not sure if this helps cuz I'm kinda confused myself a bit about all of it now LOL!

Man if I played the lotto... and won!
I would SO be planning a trip! I'd bring all my buddy's along! I would have to drive though cuz yanno my bags would be empty on the way there and weighed down and heavy on the way back! It'd probably cost an extra $100 to check it.
Could you imagine going through airport security with a bag full of crystals and Rocks LOL!
