Please Help...?

Hey all,

I knwo that I have hardly posted at all on this board.. and I am trying to catch up... Unfortunately my catch up has been cut short today by some urgent family business....

I am here to ask for any help that anyone might be able to give.

Ok, I'll start from the beggining.
When I was little, my oldest brother, who passed on 12 yrs ago, was seeing this girl. Her name was nikki (assuming her name was nicole) but that is all we know. Anyway, she left him for his freind, but very soon after, we found she was pregnant. When the baby girl was born, nikki claimed it was my brothers. This girl, well, she got around a bit, so nobody believed her.
She told both my sister and I that this child was our niece. i only saw her when she was a couple weeks old, and I was super young.. not even 10 yet. Even her boyfriend and his father insisted that the baby was my brothers.
We just thought that she was trying to cling onto my brother... he was a really good guy, and the girls loved him because he had such a kind and gentle heart.

Anyway, I don't know why it has all come up now, but about a year ago now, my brother started coming to my mother and I.
My brother kind of uses me as his go to girl... lol
Things and people just come to me, and it starts off a rollercoaster of events. I know it's him, I always feel him... and whenever this stuff happend, my mother and sister can feel him around too.

So, anyways... an old family friend who we hadn't seen in about 15 yrs all of a sudden pops up in my life, and starts talking, completely out of nowhere, about this baby and the possiblity of it being my brothers.
I called my mother, and she was blown away, because 2 months earlier, out of nowhere the thought of this child, and it being Scott's (my brother) just popped into my mum's head. She had been stressing over how to find out, then I am presented with this family friend. I know that was more a confimation that an avenue as to how to find this girl.... but we are at a total loss as to how to find her.
I don't know what years she was born, let alone the month and day. I don't know her name. I only know the first name of her mother... and the name of the friend of my brothers that she ran off with.
How to find any of them is what I am trying to work out!
I can't find them in the phone book.... I can't look at birth records, as I wouldn't know where to start or what to look for...

If anyone has any advice, please share...?
I am sending Reiki to the situation, but I am kind of fretting. The need to find her is escalating, but I just don't know what to do.

I'll thank in advance.... sorry my energies are a bit scattered from this. I think I need to go regroup or I just wont get anywhere. might try meditating on it... even though I am having trouble with meditation... lol

reiki for the situation of course. check the county birth records, they should be public record. But then again you already know some of my suggestions for this. It WILL work out.

Did your brother go to school with this girl? Do you have yearbooks in Australia? Here we have yearbooks for the upper grades with everyone's name and picture. If you have access to somethig like that it may help. Here the high schools keep copies from past years in their libraries. I hope that helps.

I would suggest doing some of your own detictive work. Contact (or have your mom contact) some of your brothers old friends. Usually people stay in contact somehow over the years. Maybe going to a High School Networking Webisite would help. Like Classmates.com or something. If you go into the year your Brother Graduated you'll surely find some names of friends he had. They will list names of people even if they were supposed to graduate. Or you can go all the way back to Elementary Schools. People will enter every school they've gone to and sometimes have info there.

They have Classmates that go back to the 1950's I'm pretty sure and it's an active site. Maybe you could find some of his friends who may have known this girl??

Just a thought.

I guess the only downside is the friends might get word to this girl that you are looking for her... which isn't a down side really. Because then you would find her.

If you're having difficulty mediating this may or may not work. But you can connect with this girl (the baby's mother) on a spiritual level. Try to meditate and invision her and let your hearts speak. You might find she'll come looking for you! Ask your guides to speak to her guides and connect the two of you this way. Another thought. Maybe try doing some seious grounding to help you connect and meditate.

By serious grounding I mean try to invision an anchoring cord (not just roots) coming from your root chakra flowing down deep into the Earth and Anchor yourself into the very core of the Earth. The core is hot so you can release any negative energies into the core and they'll just burn up. After releasing them just connect deeply with the Earth and really really ground yourself. You can pull up your anchor on set an intention to take your anchor with you - it's light energy and won't pull you down. Most people will feel pulsing and just a connectivity when they do this. I really think this would help ground you.

Maybe doing this a few times (even if just for 30 seconds) will help with the Scatteredness (I just make the words up as I go LOL) and you'll be able to meditate and connect with her spirit through your guides.

I've connected with people this way to heal situations.

OPC..I'm really sorry you and your mom are going through all of this. I'm sure it will all come out for the best. Of course, that doesn't mean you stop looking and playing detective. When you are motivated, it is amazing what you can do when it gets personal.

For sure, sending Reiki to the situation!!! That anchoring sounds like great advise... Can I borrow that too? hehe... I know I need to do a lot of grounding myself and carry along my black stones so I dont float away,,, believe it or not just a little work at it helps a LOT! So keep trying sweetie,,, something will come!

Wow, I didn't expect such an amazing amount of responses so quickly! Thank you all so much.

Well, the year book thing is a wicked good idea... but unfortunately, we know litterally nothing about this woman except her first name. She didn't grow up in our town. She just kind of floated in, then floated out after she had the baby. We don't know her family or where they are from, we don't know where she went to scool, or who any of her friends are... Absolutely nothing.

I love the grounding and anchoring! I really do need to do it. I have been 'told' for a while now that I need to ground, but every time I try to do anything that even resembles meditation, I et so relaxed I fall asleep! ha ha ha. I might try it next time I am proerly rested on the weekend when I don't have K. Thank you Miss Anamere.
I actually think that the spiritual connection is about the only way I can do this at the moment. We really have nothing to go on.

I did speak to mum about the birth records thing, but we don't know the hospital my neice was born in (oh look at that, I have already claimed her! lol), we don't know the year, the month or the day...
I know I can do this, but I have no idea how!

Saffy my love, thank you so much for your kind words. I also know this will work out. It's funny you know... Neither mum nor I are stressed about finding her. We have this deep feeling that we will find her. The thing that is stressing is the not knowing how.
I just need to keep the faith.

If I can somehow find someone who at least knew where she came from, then maybe I'll be able to get my hands on yeabooks or something from the local schools and go through them. I do remember what she looked like, though it has been years. I am pretty sure I'd know her face if I saw it.
