Picture Resizing

In my attempt to solve the issues with our avatars sometimes taking up most of the screen, I have resized a few of your avatars and hosted the resized pictures on my photoucket account.... I resized Anameres, Nates and myself,,, I think those were the only ones that were too big,,, if someone else notices that someones avatar is huge and making it hard to read through the forum, please let me know which one it is so I can fix it.

You guys that I resized, you can either leave them as is, or take the link that is in your profile for the picture and copy it to your photobucket account and then just adjust the link to lead to the picture in your photobucket account. When you change your avatars, no problem, if it needs resizing, I just did it in my photobucket account and used the medium resizing setting. You may want to keep a larger copy of the avatar for other things but if the picture is big to start with please make it smaller so it wont take over the whole forum like it sometimes did.

It wasnt anyones fault for this starting to happen, actually I put a code in that allowed pictures to be larger then the 100X100 that was the original size and it was suppose to only allow pictures to be 200X200 which is a perfect size but somehow it has a glitch and I kept getting a few pictures that were way too big, when I refreshed the page it was fine, but it was annoying to have to keep doing that.... I know some of you guys had told me that happened to you too, so it should be fine now and everyones avatars should fit in the mini profiles without being too huge. That is if everything stays the same, if there is a new picture added, it will also have to be adjusted to be around 200X200 or the medium setting in photobucket. No problem on changing anything,,, so feel free to change stuff, just make sure you keep that in mind when you do.

I noticed that yesterday when I was changing my avatars..taking up the whole page. Like you said, I just edited the picture in photobucket and just guessed the size. Most are around 120 to 200, depending on the original size. I have noticed this morning I have not had to refresh this morning.

Kudos. I would also like to add my services to anyone who would like to have help or need something resized. I am a novice at photobucket too, but I can do this.

OOoo thank you! I had no idea why mine would do that from time to time. No that I know I'll have to keep it sized down. It was just so weird it would only do it every now and then.

And Saffy I have to say I'm lovin' your new Avitars. The Owl and Tree really stood out to me

Aww, I loved the big lotus too but it smooshed the words to it is easier this way hehehe.... I was gonna tell you how to fix it about 100 times Anamere but I never got it out,,, until now lol! No worries on it though,,, it just makes it easier to see now

Thanks Annamere. They rang true with me too. I love finding them. So ya'll know I found out one of my totem animals is an owl and I've always known about my unicorn. But the tree has also always held a significance to me and it was brought up again while we were with Annamere. those who have been here a while, remember we all had forum names, Forum Fairy, etc. Well, Star made me the Forum Wise One, remember...another aha moment for me.
