Neat, our moon was red last month. It gave the optical illusion of being bigger too. I forgot what "moon" it is (like what it's called) maybe someone else will know.
Very cool pic!

how pretty!! i took a picture of the moon the other night also,,, just loved it, but it wasnt red like that!!! One thing I noticed while on my vacation is that up there it stays lighter a lot later then it does down here! I was really surprised about that, but when I thought about it, it made total sense... Your sunrise is also earlier in the day, while I was up north, I would wake up at 6:30 and be shocked to find the sun already up! Crazy!

Will you believe I couldn't find what they were calling it here in the paper?
I know!
I had no idea there were so many different "moons" yanno?
Heck the guy at the paper probably just pulled something out of a hat and called it that.
Seemed like Blood Moon rang a bell. That might have been it.
Very cool share Fairy!

How cool is that! A beautiful picture. And the red/blood moon is something I have never seen, Gotta pay more attention to the names, they are pretty special.
Great info of the moon

The moon reminds me of a song " If you get caught between the Moon and New York City..best thing you can do is fall in love.."
