This book was awesome! Merlin Stone writes about ancient cultures that worshiped a Goddess and how that affected how women were seen in those cultures. Some of it may not be the most scholarly stuff around but it really gets you thinking about how much of these ancient Goddess religions were suppressed.

I'd love to read it too....I read Sylvia Brownes "Mother God" and it dealt with a lot of the same ideas as the book you're talking about!
