I tried something that worked really well on my daughter last night. She threw up, then cried and complained that her tummy hurt for a while. Reiki works wonders on her, but sometimes she needs something more to convince her that she is okay. I looked in my herb book, and tried their suggestion. I put 2 drops of clove oil on a sugar cube and had her eat it. She hated it, of course, but it took care of her tummy in no time. She was back to running around playing within a few minutes.
Just a note on clove: I would not recomend using more than 2 drops. It is a very hot oil.

Thanks for sharing that. I'm going to write that down in my oil remedies folder. That's very interesting. I use a blend of peppermint, lavender, tea tree and lemon oils and make a belly rub and that seems to work, but I'm always searching for new ideas as well.

Black licorice (anise) works well with upset tummies too.
