It is a sweet story but it is also very sad,,, those babies were probably given up by their mother because they are white tigers... White tigers are not natural tigers, they are inbreed brother and sister usually and they are often times very deformed and unhealthy with birth defects and everything... I cant remember the ratio of a normal looking white tiger to the deformed ones but it was drastic like 1 in 4 or something like that, and usually the deformed ones are put to death or live sad lives.... I totally dont support anyone or place that had breeds or deals with white tigers because of all that... It makes me sad to think of them... I know im like soap boxing it here but I feel people need to know these things so they can understand its cruel to interbreed tigers just to get pretty white ones and make many suffer in the process...

I ntotally agree about the inbreeding. These babies look ok, though. I think it's amazing how animals will raise and nurse other animals babies. You sure don't see humans do that! lol

yea i agree,,, you dont see humans doing that much,,, usually the deformities of the white tigers is facial deformities and from that picture you dont see what their faces look like... it is a super sweet story,,, just the white tigers are sad  it is not natural for a mother to give a litter up like that but given that they could be "defective" the mom may have just done that.... I guess for me in some ways I feel a connection to animals, in particular big cats and its too bad about those white tigers cause they are amazingly beautiful creatures,,, if people only educated themselves about white tigers and didnt support the people that used them in zoos, advertisings and such,,, maybe people wouldnt interbreed them and cause all that,,, i guess in a way thats why I tell people what I know about white tigers, to people that bring the white tiger subject to me,,, I feel like I need to advocate for them in a way,,, i think education about things is the key.... ok off my soap box,,, can you tell im an animal lover? hehehe  |
