As a new adherent soon to take Reike 1 there appears to be the healing aspect, then the Psychic aspect. I am most interested in exploring the psychic aspect. My wife has made contact with a being of light who has communicated that part of her is in me, and part of me in her, and he/she/it advised her to let me handling the healing aspect. I can get into a state of now through breathing and meditation but can make no contacts. Is there a way to reach out to a psychic adviser?

I know my psychic skills open up as I practice Reiki - it just happened for me. It could be something that happened because I've always been psychic, though. What you've shared is very interesting and exciting. One thing I learned is to ask anyone/anything I connect with if they are of the highest realm. Another thing I notice is that when I am communicating with beings of the highest realms, I tend to get a bit dizzy and seasick afterwards because I've raised my vibration so high. That is also a sign that I'm working with a friendly entity.

Oh, I strongly agree that my psychic skills open up tremendously when I am using Reiki. I do medical intuitive readings in our clinic. I always begin by sending Reiki. Everything flows so much easier.

I also agree that my psychic abilities opened up a lot when I started Reiki. I think healing takes place with just the intention of making some feel better and being able to use the psychic abilities to better yourself or anyone else you would like to use this ability

I should clarify by saying that I had experiences of "knowing", visions, clairaudience, and other psychicness (is that a word) before I even knew what reiki was. Once I began my reiki path, I started to have more of those moment happen when I gave a treatment and such. I can see how the meditative state one gets into while giving/getting reiki can take you to other realms and connect with other beings, etc. If you're already psychic, as I am, it moves REALLY fast!

I think everyone is psychic, some are just more developed then others.... I also think that Reiki brings that out in some people as well because it helps to meld the worlds together. I agree- I think everyone can do what I do. Of course, I have heard that I am just being modest. Don't get me wrong, I do know how blessed I am to be so gifted, but I also believe that anyone can do this if they just listen enough. It's hard to describe, actually, but I really believe that.
