I know I mentioned on the other board at one time that with my new deck garden I had recently seen hummingbirds. Something in the 6 years that I've lived in this duplex I hadn't seen. Anyway, I've been seeing them more frequently now and this is what I missed the other day gosh darn it. I got home form work and Jon tells me, that while he had the back door open to the deck a hummingbird came right intot he house! He flew in looked at Jon, flew back, looked around a little and then flew back outside! And I missed it!! But how cool is that! And yesterday I saw 2 more and one just sat on my cloths line and watched me work in the kitchen window. I was so impressed. I'm beginning to think that hummingbirds may be another totem for me.

How VERY COOL! I have had some hummingbirds at my door but to come in! WOW! I'm slightly jealous... LOL
It could be a totem or Humming Bird may have something to share with you. I've been seeing alot of them lately. Girl you could journey about it to find out if it's a totem... use your new tools girl! Use 'em!
I can't remember if you have the Animal Speak book but there is always cool info on them there. I'm gonna cheat and transfer infor I posted at the other forum on Hummingbird from the Ted Andrews book, I just thought I'd share it for sharing sake. :
Hummingbird Because of it's iridescent colors the hummingbird has been named for the jewels a glittering stones - i.e., the ruby throated hummingbird. It has also come to be associated with the Faerie Realm. One Species has been called the wood-nymphhummingird and another the Purple-crowned Fairy. Hummingbirds are the only birds that can fly backwards and who's wings make a figure 8 pattern (infinity symbol)
Our Lynnie had posted this which grabbed my attention to share with ya too:
Hummingbird: Joy. I love life! It's such a treat to be able to fly backward, forward, up, down, and sideways. Lots of flexibility as to which direction I go. I'm especially sensitive and careful about who I let close to me, so if something seems at all sccary or intimidating, I'm outta there!
Just thought I'd share wif ya. Trying to find a way to incorporate the stuff we shared with each other at the other forum. Hope this helps and I hope you see more of your hummingbird! Very Very cool!
