i've stared at the night sky around my house so many times that i know the general layout of the stars without thinking. well, last night i had noticed there was an exceptually bright star in the sky where it should not have been, so i stare, of course. then i noticed it was moving slowly. i tell a couple other people that were there to look and tell me if it was a plane, since it was moving, but not blinking like planes do. just as they look up, it begins to slowly get smaller and lighter, moving into the vastness of space until it completely disappeared. so, i take my chair into the darker part of the yard to watch for any more and after a short time, i did! another, faster shooting star! two! how cool. lol. i also feel that there was a reason why i was the one to notice the first one and the only one at all to see the second. naturally i made wishes! lol. the only other thing that kept getting my attention was a constallation. i'll have to draw it in a bit, put it in my puter and share it here. maybe someone will know which one it is. i'll be back with that after the kids get to school and hubby gets to work. just had to share my cool stary experience. lol.

I've never seen a shooting star. I feel so deprived. I'll dream about one.

I need to visit the country. My sister's place would be great. I'll keep the faith. And Star, always think of you when looking at the sky, well not just then.
