Toucan

I just picked up Steven Farmer's Animal Spirit Guides and found out what a toucan means. Why would I want to? Cause I was told I had one hanging around. Sooo, here we go.

If a Toucan shows up, it means:
~ Consider stretching yourself by taking a class or workshop in acting, speech, or improvisational theater.
~ Be willing to speak up by both raising the volume of your voice and by letting your feeling, thoughts, and opinions be known.
~ Be aware of your words and communication style and how they affect others
~ You'll benefit from doing some chanting or toning
~ Take a chance and express the feelings that you've held back from someone

Call on a Toucan when:
~ You want your voice to be heard loud and clear
~ You want to get involved in a group or class that will help you improve your communication or speaking skills
~ You feel like holing up for awhile and getting some much needed rest
~ You've gotten a message from Spirit in some manner, but you're afraid to hear it
~ You have something you want to say to someone that's difficult to express

If Toucan is you Power Animal:
~ You're an actor and enjoy acting as a hobby or avocation
~ You're a colorful and effective speaker and communicator, with an excellent command of the language
~ At times you speak too loudly when it's not appropriate, and this leads others to misunderstand you
~ You're unpredictable, inclined to do what you want when you want to do it, sometimes to the point that others get annoyed with you
~ You're a colorful person in more ways than one, and enjoy being seen and heard

I think the only time I have seen a Toucan is on the Fruit Loops commercial and at the zoo. How cool there is one hanging around you.

I see this was posted 8 years ago, but happy it was and showed up in my search for toucan. I just dreamt of a toucan family being in the the yard of my partner who I have no clue it was. The mother was in a tree, father in the garage and there were babies hopin around the yard and in the garage. I read the meaning you have posted and they all resonate at some level, not sure exactly which was for my dream though. I had read another meaning that says that if this bird appears to you, you are able to travel between the physical, spirit and other worlds/dimensions. Being a medium, this one also resonates with me. But I have been told by other teachers that I have the ability to move freely between worlds. Who knows... Lol. To many meanings!
