Hi everyone!
I am brand new here tonight and just wanted to say hi and tell a bit about myself. I am a Usui Reiki Master/Teacher and I love what I do. I got into Reiki after a couple of treatments before a heart surgery. My mom got me a couple for the event (one before and one after). I went to the first treatment and I was so amazed at how I felt after. I felt a sense of peace, not fear and that I could just do anything, including get through the open heart surgery with flying colors.
It was about 6 months later I was connected with my first Reiki Teacher through a friend of hers. I learned and was attuned to levels 1 and 2 by this amazing person. Sadly, she moved far away and I could not complete my training with her. It was about a year later that I met the wonderful lady who would be my guide into the Master level. We worked together for months and I had a lot of work to do. I was attuned in February of 2008 and just attuned my first student a couple of weeks ago.
I love sharing this amazing gift with everyone I can. I feel that as a practitioner of Reiki I can help people which is something I am so passionate about. I look forward to meeting some amazing people here. Have a great night!
