~samhain alter~

just my two samhain alters; thought i'd share.

............so the idea is to set out things that represent the season and that bring in the power of the elements and spirit helpers, not to mention passed loved ones. the tarot and some runes are for divination purposes and the candles represent: orange (represents magick of fire and remainder of fire in autumn leaves), black (collects and absorbs light and keeps you warm), white (sends out energy), silver, and gold (represents Moon and Sun).
the extra black candle in the center cauldron is for writing resolutions on a strip of paper and burning in the candle flame. the second one is the memorial alter. i actually keep it all year round, but i had to give special attention for the holiday. lol. anyhoo, that's it. they'll be lit tomorrow and stay glowing all day and night. happy samhain to everyone!
