How many of you do sun salutations every morning? I try to do 20. My goal is to work up to 100 each morning. Gary

I dont, but good idea, I should! I usually just go to the gym and work out, sometimes it power yoga and we do sun salutations but lately I have been becoming one with the elliptical-cross-country-ski-machine-thingy or swimming... I have been thinking about getting back into a more regular yoga practice though, and I think you just sparked an idea with me Gary! Thanks, I needed that =]

ive tried restorative yoga,, but i like to get sweaty and feel the burn lol,,, i did a lot of yoga when i was recovering from surgery last year, the calming peaceful stuff, but lately ive only done the more powerful stuff.... i am addicted to the adrenaline you get from pushing yourself... ahhh guess it could be something worse to be addicted to right? that and my diet pepsi... ugh lol
there is a DVD that i LOVE LOVE LOVE, its called AM/PM Yoga by Rodney Yee and Patricia Walden (I think thats her name) they take you through asanas that are perfect for morning and or night time and are really awesome for the beginners and more advanced practitioners... I highly recommend checking it out as its like a step further then the sun salutations, they do those in the DVD but they take it to the next level so to speak...

i love rodney yee! he's really great and pleasant. his poses are perfection. i know what you mean about addicted. lol. yoga, in all it's various splendor, can surely be addicting. i can't go a day without it. well, i had a slump for almost a month a while back, but thank goddess that's past. (i guess it happens, yeah?) my body and spirit are so much happier with yoga, not to mention healthier and stronger. i swear i think it helps my lupus to be less on me than it could be. i think it's good for everyone, even if it's just a simple sun salutation every day, restorative or heavy practice. it's all good:) *loves*
