wow, interesting indeed. I'll check my books when I get home but maybe there are other wonderful dream interpreters out there who can help you out.

Well, I am checking my book and lots of books say different things, but here is mine's version.
Fire - Associated with life and passion. Regeneration, perhaps entering a period of renewal and painful reflection. But since you are not burned, not so painful.
The dream may suggest that you need more vitality and passion in your life.
About the...when I dream about cars..but I'll check the book too..it usually means us. As if we are driving, we are in control, if we are passengers, we are being led. So are you telling yourself you need a kick in the butt to get more passion in your life.
Book says..car can be a journey as where we are going in life. Are you in control?
My own version..being out of the car are you "thinking" of making a change/trip either physically or spiritually. Has this thought been burning inside you. Since you don't get hurt are you afraid of taking this step but know this is the best step for you.
Ok, I may be way off...but think about the dream yourself and the situation you are in right now, are you not letting yourself do something?

very good, saf. then, there's also the more obvious possibility? i hate to be the downer, here, but also could very well be a premonition of sorts. something unexpected going wrong with your car and you being afraid of being stuck somewhere or even a small wreck that doesn't hurt you, but frightens you much and strands you. i know, that sounds bad, but it could also prepare you to avoid a possible problem in the future. like i said, i'm real sorry to sound depressive, but i've known people to have bad dreams that they surely didn't want to think were premonitions, only to learn after the fact that they were, ya know? just another possibility:)
