~this one is one of the very few my sister has written that isn't dark or disturbing. lol. thought i'd share. she did well, considering she doesn't really write a whole lot of poetry.~
~the fae~
tiny little fae
I see it is your day
the sunshine so bright
you would simply take flight
hiding in the thin shadows
I'd watch you flutter
and disappear into the light
without an utter
silent little fae
flying away
how rare it is that I can say
I enjoy this sort of day
but thinking of you
shines light anew
this day is merry
in light of the faerie
