~crossroad~
we now have come to a crossroad in life.
one where we choose between struggle or strife.
everyone,at some point, has to make the choice.
do i stay silent, do i give a voice?
the choices are hard,both with pain.
one leads to healing, the other-strain.
the latter is strife and it never ends;
i choose the first; my heart will mend.
if we choose not to struggle and give in to strife,
how will we ever improve our life?
yes, our life; this we share.
i share your pain, sorrow and despair.
let us choose the struggle that helps us heal.
i'll carry you, love, with wings of steel.
i'll hold your hand and wipe your tears.
i'll share my strength to calm your fears.
the struggle has begun, but we are tough.
we have each other through the rough.
whatever you need, i always keep;
you feel the pain, as the tears i weep.
our choice is clear and blessed be;
we will arise; we will be free.
