Rock Garden....

My dad commented yesterday on the little space between my keyboard and my monitor, he called it my rock garden. I never really noticed until then how much it is like a rock garden... But more then that a lot of the things I keep there are really special things I have received from many of you at different times. I have several places in my home that are special like this,,, the others usually have a theme of some sort, like my angel corner and my fairy corner, and even a healing spot where I have my healing grid... I didn't really have an intention when I started placing things here other then just having some things close to me that mean a lot, since I am on the computer more then I would like to admit LOL! So anyhow,,, just wanted to share one of my special spots with you all here... Some things, some of you may recognize... Some things are permanent fixtures in this spot and some things have gravitated here in some way or another, while others I sometimes pick up and hold on to (or wear) for a while throughout the day,,, you know how we love our rocks hehe... everything here is special

Awww! Seeing that brough tears to my eyes! Like helps to feel that connection we all share. And just seeing the special things just "got me" If that makes sense.

And I just Love it your Dad calling it a rock garden that is just so... so very "my Dad" too if that makes sense. And it just got me "there" yanno? I've missed my friends. Been feeling kinda lost. I mean even though we've talked on the phone it's just seeing a visual something makes that connection more.

Sorry I'm a mush! I think I've just missed you guys so dang much it just feels nice to be home again yanno?

Thank you for sharing this with us, it made me long for having my house fully back to normal too. I had to pack alot of stuff and feel kinda lost.

Awww, Lainey, I'm with ya......kinda blue. What a lovely rock garden, Star! My biggest problem with my mini alters is the dust. Yours looks so sparkling clean and pretty!

I am with you on the dust and lovely cat hair LOL... I am forever dusting, in fact I sooooooooooo need to dust my house,,, its been too long to mention without being embarrassed lol... I did it just before I had surgery cause I knew I wasnt going to want to do it for a while... I havent even vaccumed since I had surgery, and I was looking at the floors today thinking God I need to vacuum,,, it is so not be to be lazy but I have made myself be lazy and chill for a change,,, I am one of those people that cleans, vacuums, dusts, vacuums and dusts even the ceiling fans,,, pretty much every week... Not lately though, so this is a strange world for me,,, this is my last week of physical therapy (I think) so I figure when I start being more "normal" again I will bust out the vacuum and do some dusting LOL! This particular little rock garden is used more then the others cause I am sitting in front of it every day for hours and I pick stuff up and hold it or what not throughout the day, so this one doesnt appear as dusty as the rest of them do right now LOL!

I would love to see some of you alls special spots!!!
