This thread is not attempting to make fun of real addictions. They are very serious. Instead, this thread is a way for friends with similar interest can share and have fun in the process. If this thread offends you, I apologize.
(before anyone arrives, talking to myself). What the heck did I do that I have to do this again. I have to do these sporking meetings. Why couldn't I just stay home and play with my pretties and goodies...all of them.
(moving chairs around in a semi circle, kicking one every so often) I just keep getting more frustrated with these crazy people that come here. Not only do they not want to get better, but they act like maniacs if they even get a whiff if someone is carrying. I am so glad I don't act like that.
(I have finally finished and go to put the sign up on the door, looking at the clock thinking...5 more minutes of quiet)
(as I go to the corner of the room and check to make sure my "things" are safe. Geez, I can't even leave these beautiful things at home or in the car, I can't trust anyone. I'm not paranoid. I hear footsteps and laughing in the hall) Take a deep breath, in-out, in-out in-out..ok, bring them on.
(the first 2 people walk in and I smile, they nod in acknowledgment, but continue with their conversation)
Welcome, please feel free to get a cup of coffee or bottled water on the table right by the door. (they take a look and go over to the table)
(in-out...walking up to the front of the room to go over my notes, well at least the hand out they gave me to see how long this meeting will last and what the hell I am supposed to do)
(walking to the table to get a bottle of water) We will be starting in about 10 minutes. Thanks for coming. When we begin, feel free to participate. Thanks
(I sit at the front of the room waiting for the chaos to start)

Remember what the sign said, you need to be prepared to share. Ms. Fae, if you have to flitter around, could you try to stay setting during the meeting. But until then (reaching out a hand) welcome and my name is Saffy.
(the other lady comes over to see if Fae is getting in on something and intrudes). (reaching out my hand again). Hi, I'm Saffy. I am leading the meeting today. I have addictions too. This group will help me as well as all that attend, (I hate this, I just want to go eat some chocolate, smudge my house, play with my crystals and meditate all day long, and if I can get a friend to do an attunement, it would really be a great day) (smiling at both ladies)

Why, my name is Angel, because I am an angel, perfectly behaved and all. Well, I do have a few hobbies....er......addictions, the worst one being chocolate, but an angel NEEDS her chocolate to stay grounded, otherwise she'd be likely to just float off into the ethers, now you wouldn't want that, would you, because it gets really hard to stay grounded, and then I start rambling and not making any sense and....<slap> now was that necessary?  |

(I could not believe that) I do believe Angel has had one to many pieces of chocolate. All the sudden she threw her head to the side (I think she feels that she has been slapped) Ms. Fae and I look at her and then at each other. So Angel, could I get you some water or something.
As soon a few more people arrive the meeting will start
OMG...she thinks I'm getting violent already. First I need to see what everyone has before I go getting rough with anyone.

Lets see I got this unusual tumbled piece from a friend today, I am not sure what it is, maybe green fluorite,,, funny how that keeps showing up for me, I have lots,,, do you wana trade for those kisses???

A shout breaks the silence....
"SPECIAL DELIVERY!"
The group turns there heads toward the door, where stands a man dressed in full military dress uniform. He has a huge suitcase in his hand.
"Well, hello ladies. Nice to meet you. The's name's Nate, but some of you know me as 'The Admiral', as I was recently promoted. Sorry it took so long to get here, but it was a long flight."
"What's in the case?" one of the ladie's ask.
The Admiral smiles cheekily, saunters over to the table with the coffee and water, and places the case on it.
"Prepare yourself!" he says. He opens the locks, and swings the lid up. There is a golden glow, and a heavenly choir can be heard. The girls all look up in wonder, and head towards the case. What they see sends golden shivers of delight through them.
The case is full of every thing they love. Chocolate, chocolate, crystals, more crystals, more chocolate and what ever there heart's desire.
"Where did you get this case?" they all cry in unison, except one who eyes him strangely. "We need to know!"
The Admiral says but one word.....
"eBay."
There is a long pause. One of the girls looks at him.
"So you're the one who outbid me!"

(giggles silly) welcome to the admiral......actually, grand admiral, right? lol. (locks into an hypnotic gaze at the wonderful pretties in the suitcase). i would so flutter over, but i have to sit still..................well, just bouncing a little.................darn, all out of chocolate......here, here, admiral! i only have a peice of spirit cactus in my pocket, but next week, i'll have some new pretties to share. yae! (looks at the luster and sparkle of the spirit stone........hypnotized again) faeries get smitten with sparkly things. he he he......
