Okay, I see maybe I should have put this on another section of the forums, maybe someone would like to move it... still finding my way around here!
I saw on Star's site that she attuned her cat. I have another friend who's a healer who has attuned a couple of his cats. My question is: Have you attuned a cat, or any other pet? If so, what changes did you notice in their behavior or personality after that attunement? And did anyone consider attuning an animal and decided not to, and if not, what were your reasons not to? I have not attuned my cat, although he's awfully smart. I haven't gotten any direction to do so. I wonder what effect this would have on an animal's future incarnations as well. Is anyone here a dowser or have any other way of communicating with animals to find out what they want? Hope this isn't too long a question, but the whole idea intrigues me. We wouldn't probably attune most people unless they ask for it, so would we attune an animal without knowing if they wanted it? Thanks, Jeanne

My black lab has been attuned to reiki, not through me although I do reiki on her all the time. I was receiving a distant attunement and was lying down when doing so and my pup Adara jumped up on the bed and just snuggled right into me when it was being down. Normally she won't cuddled right up but it seems she loves reiki and seemed to sense what was going on and wanted to get in on it! teehee Now the person to speak to about animal reiki would definitely be our expert Fay.

Hi Jeanne,,, I think that if your cat is willing to recieve the attunement then it will, or your dog for that matter.... Sort of like attuning a baby,,, if they can are open to it then great, if not the energy will be returned to you. I would suggest trying to connect with the animals spirit and asking before starting though.... That seems to work.... I would love to hear what you do with it! ((hugs)) Star

Hi Jeanne, I haven't attuned my dog, but she has been in the room while humans received attunements and she has gotten a lot of treatments through me. She seems to have her own very powerful healing energy so I haven't felt guided to attune her. It's an interesting idea, though! Christine

I agree, if the animal in question is willing to receive, he or she will hang around. If the animal is not interested, he or she will walk away. I have not attuned my animals (yet), but I often give my cats Reiki treatments. They are very clear with me whether or not they want it. Zoey is very accepting of it...every time so far. She just loves it. However, Sidd is not always willing to sit still for a treatment, and that's ok, too. Sidd operates on a different level....it's like Christine's dog....Sidd has his own healing vibration, and he is very generous with it. Jeanne, please let us know if you get the urge to attune your pet. And, Star....my cat Zoey is really liking my new attunement!

i have attuned almost every one of my animals even my pet rats... I have noticed positive changes in them... my rats became more friendly and more cozy... and they started to listen to me in a whole new way... our telepathic connection became stronger to... i always ask the animal first if it wants to be attuned... and if it don't want to it don't do it.. i have been trying to attune one of my cats (sapphire) but she don't want the attunement... she runs away from me and if i don't stop the attunement, she will come and bite me in my hands... not hard.. just to signal me to stop... i have only experienced positive changes in my animals...
