AN update my first week of work

thought i would share a little update with you all on how things are going at work, well to start off my first day of work i was really tired, cause i get up early, at 7am to be at work at 8am, so its something im not completly use too, but i will get use to it, the first day i was working on stocking the dog treats, and that went well, another thing i notice as i work i get sore in my legs cause im on my feet alot, so i come home sore, but that was the biggest task i was doing for that day,


then the second day i was doing a bunch of other tasks, like going around the store and making sure things were where they needed to be like checking items and what was low i would add more things were missing in some areas so i would have to go find more of what was needed and was matching the codes to the products, then i was taking care of the cat area and all the cats were moewing at me, it was cute, and was dusting the fish tank areas, and cleaning the windows in the cat area,each day there would be many tasks to do after the first day,


then the third day i was going around and stocking the dog food, and many other things that day and would work on the dog leshes and put them were they needed to go,


the fourth day i did many tasks again, and sometimes would carry items and put them were they needed to go,


and then today which was the last day of the week and last day i work cause i get the weekend off,i was finshing up the leashes today, and while i was working i had a couple visits with some owners that brought in there dogs and was petting them and giving them some love, the min the dogs saw me they got a ll excited, so i was having a good day giving the dogs some love and all and before i knew it my shift was over for the day it went by so fast, but thought i would share a little bit on how work was going, blessings sisterskylove

Thats great Sister! You know our bodies adjust to what they are used to, so if we are not used to getting up early then we will eventually adjust to doing that, so give yourself a little time and I bet you will wake up before the alarm clock soon. I know in the summer when I dont take the kids to school I totally fall out of my routine of waking up really early, but when I have to take them again I start to wake up early automatically. See its Saturday and I was up before 5AM, LOL!

Sounds like your falling into your job wonderfully. As Star says you'll get used to the hours quickly enough I'm sure. Keep enjoying your new job!

This sounds like so much fun!

I used to work in retail too so I remember about the leg soreness from standing all day. It's helpful to tense and release your leg muscles periodically or stretch out if no one is around. That keeps all the blood flowing throughout the day.

yup, sounds like it's good. i wouldn't be able to resist the kitties meowing at me. i'd be stuck in there longer than i should've been from petting them all. lolol.....glad it's working for you. much luck and blessings, sister!

I'm so happy that you found a job that you obviously enjoy. The first week is usually the hardest and I can feel your smile as you were telling us about you day..CONGRATULATIONS

it was only a temopray job, for 2 weeks, it was not permenent but i enjoyed it while i was there many blessings sisterskylove
