Split from: %7Ehe+he+he+he%7EI've seen these cars driving around. It's great on gas and such - out here, it's a bit more expensive than other parts of the country. Out of curiosity,,, and trying a new thing on the forum,, (I finally got a chance to try this out) I forked a thread... As you can see at the top right of the message is now has a button called "fork" next to the reply button. Anyhow if there is a conversation that you would like to take to a different part of the forum and fork off into a different direction, you can use that button and fork the thread,,, just like this! Cool beans huh? Now we will be forking all over,,, i can see it now hehehe.... And to my question,,, how much IS gas in your town? Here it is between $3.29 & $3.90 a gallon.... CRAZY!!!

Oh please! You gals have it cheap! Come to Canada and get gas and then you'll freak! Gas here has been between 1.15$ and 1.30$ - so if I remember correctly that puts it at about what compared to you?...around 3.30$ to 4$ I think. We're almost always a good 25cents to 30cents more than the US.

If anyone has seen Farscape or Stargate, the word that they use is Frak. In fact there is a commercial for one of the Star shows that keeps saying this word. That fraking TV show.

Ok,,,I am going to fraking bring this up again. Gas is getting way way out of hands. Can someone please tell me how it goes from $3.14 to $3.35 in one hour. A long time ago, I knew someone who owned a gas station and she told me the reason gas is different prices is they go on what they pay for each tank they have underground. So, if she paid $1.50, she charges..say $2.10. If the next tank costs her $2.10, then she raises the price. She said this was the law. You can't just change the price cos you want to.
This is not the same way. Somewhere along the line the government changed these rules. Everytime I hear the oil has increased, it takes about 3 seconds for gas to increase. We are getting raked over the coals by whims. I am not saying we should not pay a fair price, but I would really like to know where this really starts...dare I say some government?
Well, again, I am just getting out some frustrations.
I know we have destroyed the earth and I should even complain, but with gas prices going up, everything else is going up more and more. It is getting harder and harder to work, or to buy anything because everything is affected by the price of gas...
enough, sigh

The cheap station is up to $3.78 and it's up as high as $3.85...it's scary. This is the 2nd worst commute in the nation. As I've mentioned, I spent 40 minutes going to work and 45 minutes coming back home...and it's only about 12-13 miles! I fill up once a week and I really don't use my car for anything aside from coming/going to work. We need to send reiki to the earth, to this situation, and to those in charge of making choices on our behalf.

Count me in!!! Reiki for the earth...coming up.
Well, I don't know about my forum mates, but for me, the 1970's left a deeeeep impression, and as a result, I have never driven anything bigger than a Nissan Sentra. Right now, I'm in a Versa, which is only slightly larger than a Honda Fit. When will we finally get it that oil is not infinately abundant? My friends were pooh-poohing me about four years ago when gas here was $1.25/gallon and I was saying to them that it wasn't going to stay that way for long....then, a few years later, along came Katrina, and everything shot thru the roof.
Geez, if I could afford a hybrid.......Guess I have to add that to my manifestation list.
BTW, gas here is now $3.35 at the cheap stations. (I've abandoned any hope of driving to Florida this summer.)
