We all know Aura has a beautiful wooded around her house and I know I want to see it. But today, I sat out on my deck and saw all these geese flying and landing in the pond. I found that so cool. Then the ganders would go right through them and of course, one of the geese would follow. Mother nature at its best. It's not woods, but it does look like woods behind it. There is a line of trees, but there is a corn field beyond that.

This is beautiful!!! I grew up in the country with woods behind the house and wild animals wandering through our yard all the time. Now I live in the city with a tiny backyard...I look out and see neighbors mostly But I do have two enormous trees which are very cool to have. A pond is great!

Yes, everything is a beautiful site, just gotta look.
I've always wanted a pond, although this isn't mine, it is out my back doo. It is a peaceful place to see nature moving and keeping me company.

beautiful! I love the woods and water also. Since I live in the desert LOL.. we have to improvise a little.. LOL. right now I still have just alot of plain ol dirt! my blessing is that I can look our the back door and see our barn the arena and horses and the mountains behind us. we have to plant all our own trees ( can ya believe that?) so we do it a little at a time. so far we've planted 40. not even a dent in what we need! Thanks for sharing your scenery! Very tranquil and relaxing environment there!
hugs
Janet

Hey Janet, well there you are. I have been thinking about what Aura said and finding beauty in anything if you just look close enough. I think sharing here has been really cool about what our back yards look like.

Wow 40 trees in the back yard!!! Thats awesome,,, I wana back yard that big!!! Id love planting that many trees hehehe... I planted a few since I moved in this house almost 2 years ago now,,, wow how time flys!! I have another one in the back yard that it just in a pot, it is ready to go into the ground though,,, it's roots started to grow through the pot! My neighbors told me that 6 trees were in my back yard pre-hurricanes from several years ago and no one ever replaced them when they went down,,, so I decided to make it my duty to be that person,,, so far I have planted 5
