ok, so by now, most of you know that more often than not i meditate outside, right. if the weather is just right, how can i not. lol. anyway, so i was outside just a bit ago, meditated, sent reiki to a few people and after i'm done and namaste nature, i just sit there a bit longer and enjoy the beauty. now, i always hear the hoof steps of deer when i meditate. i know what they sound like, but i rarely see them. today, when i was about to get up to go back inside, something in the distance moved. i stop and pay attention and notice, it's a deer! so i sit there, grinning, tickled to see her.............then, another, smaller one steps from behind a bush! i think, "wow! there's two, how cool is that". so i sit even more tickled and just feeling blessed to be able to watch them. after a couple minutes, a third, larger deer steps from behind a tree!! man, i'm ecstatic at this point. three!! my life number. lol. but, just think, three.....it's not often to see ONE, let alone three. lol. i sat a watched them for almost ten minutes until the two larger ones stepped back into the thick. just the baby was still showing............i slowly get up and it notices me and just stares. i stand still and stare, so it would know, "i see you and i'm safe for you". then my dog, snoogie, started rolling in the grass and playing and she scared it off. lol. just thought i'd share my amazement. lol. pointless ramble done! lol.

Ok, I don't have Animal Speak, I have ANimal Wisdom. Here's what it says about Deer: Goddesses-Artemis, Diana, Saysan Gods-Apollo, Hercules DirectionEast Element-Wind Traits-Swiftness, cunning, grace, beauty Associations-Sexuality (Europe Male, American Female), duality and duplicity, storyteller, keeper of wisdom, divinity, purity, prudence, royalty, and soul.
It turns out that almost all cultures have myths and symbolism related to the deer.
Hope this helps........... Kristi

Ok I have Animal Speak....
Deers keywords are gentleness and innocence, gentle luring to new adventure, their cycle of power is autumn and spring.
If you remember the number of points on the deers antelopes it will have a significance to you, if you remember that, look to numerology for the answer...
The deer leads us back to primal wisdom of old teachings. It reminds us to establish a strong healthy connection with the child before we expose it to many people and other strange energies. It is a reminder that there is a tradition that is natural and suitable for family units and for the health of young..
(that sounds like you Aura, old skool traditional family, kids etc... hehe)
When a deer shows up in your life it is time to be gentle with yourself and other. A New innocence and freshness is about the be awakened or born. There is going to be a gentle enticing lure of new adventures. Ask yourself important questions. Are you trying to force things? Are others? Are you being too critical and uncaring to yourself? When deer show up there is an opportunity to express gentle love that will open new doors to adventure for you...
There is a lot more in the book about deers, I picked what seemed to pop out at me... Hope it is helpful! (((hugs)))
