I'm not familiar with the site you mentioned. I used to have bunches of files on my computer with music but had to copy them to a flash drive after it crashed the last time. I would check it out too but I don't have speakers and lemme tell ya I really miss 'em! That said. I Too Love all different types of music and love making different mixes and just... well I just love music. It's amazing how a song can take you back to the best, saddest, calmest, funnest or most Loving moments of your life yanno? I would have to say some of my favorite music of late would be like Native American style (Douglas Blue Feather) and mediative type stuff by Peter Davison. I also listen to alot of Enigma. I just love them! Also a huge HUGE fan of sound tracks. Right now in my car I have Tan Dun's "Hero" Sound track. It's like asian guitar and drums... very cool. YES, I'm a geek I know. As far as radio type/dance music. I'll listen to top 40 in the car but I'm into all sorts of music. Southern Rock holds a place in my heart. Big Skynyrd fan too! Also I Love Like Alman Brothers, Doobie Brothers, Steeley Dan type era LOL Funny to think I come from an "era" I didn't get into Big Hair bands until recently. I'm embarrassed to admit I found Bon Jovi in the past 2 or 3 years but I really like him/them which ever. Also big on Jazz and Blue's of all sorts. My Dad and I used to go see local Blue's bands every Friday and it really holds a specail place in my heart. Not big on Country, like newer country, that is. Listened to alot of it as a child and throw on some Crystal Gale, Ronnie Milsap, Jerry Reed, John Conlee, Merl Haggard, Dolly Parton, Oak Ridge Boys or Alabama and I about know it all word for word! Oh and I AM a HUGE Johnny Cash fan... and I mean just huge. Have been for years, oh and Rock a Billy fan... also can slip in some Psycho Billy cuz I LOVE "The Cramps" also like interesting Punk type stuff like Switchblade Symphany and Rasputina. Man I could go on all night. I just love music. My favorite Classical composer is Mozart. Guess that's about all I can think of for now LOL I know that's alot. Ok Ramble Central out LOL

Elaine,,,you remember so many. I am a big Johnny Cash fan and big hair music fan. Hate to admit, but I also loved Disco. Hey what can I say, I grew up in the 70's with the Bee Gee's, Guess Who, Bread, Super Tramp and Peter Frampton, REO, CCR, Journey, and all the party bands. And there is always Aero Smith, Kiss and Pink Floyd. It's funny how so many of these songs are being remade or on commericals
I am now really liking Native American music. I have been meditating to it and I get chills when I hear it in person at a Pow Wow.
What an eclectic group we are ...

OMG Lyroc, Dan Fogelberg? At one time (in the early '90's) I had every one of his recordings....
I love Daughtry, too...but as far as American Idol contestants go, my alltime fave has to be Elliot Yamin.
I listen to a lot of Jazz, New Age, and yes, a bit of country (a remnant of my Florida days.) I love world music and classical also. I, too, find it hard to listen to top 40 these days, but then, I always did...lol. My car radio stays set on the local public radio station.
I have a lot of Moby, Kitaro, Dean Evenston, Walter Beasley, Enya, Sarah Mclaughlin, Dido, Temptations, Earth Wind and Fire, Sam Cook, (old old old) Chicago, Sarah Brightman, Israel Kamakawiwo'ole. Ugh, as I'm writing this post, I realize I haven't been music shopping in a LOOOOONG time..lol
My 18 yr old sometimes comes home with cool stuff. He just brought me a CD called Dub Side (I don't know who the artist is, but its Dark Side of the Moon re-done in a mild Raggae style, and it's really good!)
OK...off to Amazon I go...lol
