Just wondered what kind of music everyone likes? I like a lot of different stuff, in all honesty there isnt much that I don't like.... I am not huge on country music, but some of it is ok,,, I do have a list of online radio stations that I listen to though... I almost always have my headset plugged in when on the computer

Ahhh music, let's make some notes (Lame, I know, but it was there and I had to use it!)
Love classic rock, grew up on it. Elvis, The beatles etc.
Swing: Bobby Darin, Dean Martin.
60's/70's Rock: Meat Loaf, KISS, AC/DC, The Doors, Alice Cooper...I could go on and on...
One of my current favourites is Mike Oldfield. He is one of the best artists I have ever heard, and made his album debut in 1974 with 'Tubular Bells', an album he recorded every intstrument himself and made over 10,000 over-dub tracks to put it all together! I have quite a few of his albums, such as : Hergest Ridge, Ommadawn, Amarok, Tubular bells parts 1,2,and 3. His guitar playing is amazing!
I also have soft spots for Johnny Cash and Billy Joel, Ozzy Osbourne and Alan Parsons.
And I will admit, I am a Huge fan of The Phantom Of The Opera. I got pushed into seeing it, as I don't really like musicals, and ended up loving it!
As for modern stuff, some of it is great, but I can't listen to rap like Eminem and similar stuff. Death metal and that other stuff I just can't stomach!
So, there's a small insight into what I listen too!

I love all kinds of music. I like oldies, especially peace protest music. I also like techno and metaphysical music. I also love all kinds of classical music. Nate, I am a huge fan of Phantom of the Opera! I also love Les Miserables. I like 80's and 90's pop and rock, but find the newest stuff on the radio unlistenable. I think my age is showing!

I like almost everything.. except I don't really care for the blues so much....
Rock pop: Daughtry, Bon jovi ( have you heard the new song Wanna make a memory? It's #2 on the country charts! All the oldies too!
I love Gwen Stefani.. I think she is so beautiful.
I confess I am a country fan too... My Saturday or Sunday morning is watching the countdown... country these days is actually a little more rock.
It's funny how we change over the years... I used to listen to Poison and Motley Crue 15 years ago... LOL I still love the music... but I like Brad Paisley, Sugarland, Rascal Flatts.. they have some good songs. My ipod has a miriad of tunes from deepak chopra meditations, to soft piano, ocean waves etc... to celine dion... So I guess I'm just all over the place with music.. put some on and I'm a happy camper!
Hugs,

I'm glad you guys wrote all that down...so what they said.
I do like Elvis Costello and a lot of alternative rock. Pumpkin Heads and such. It is amazing, when alternative first came out, it is now on main stream and alternative is something I really can't figure out. There are only a few country singers I like, most of which are older ones. I listened to with my mom. You always knew what to expect, someone was lonely, someone is in love or somewhere in between. But to be honest, I usually listen to the 70, 80, 90 and soft jazz. You know what Lyroc, the only change I've really had is, I don't like Pop so much anymore. I feel like a bubble gum chewing teenager. Wait, do they do that anymore?

I kinda like Aura, I'm all over the place but my ultimate favorites would be Alan Parsons Project, and Laura Branigan. Right now I'm a big fan of Techno/Trance stuff but I'll listen to just about anything.

I just wondered if anyone else uses Project Playlist... I started up a random playlist with a bunch of different types of music I like, most of the first playlist is old music my cousin and I listened to when we were young... (We made the list together) but recently I have been looking for other music... Everything from like the Beatles to the Beastie Boys on that list hehehe... I am working on a softer music list and some others though, to organize the type of music on them I figured cant hurt to ask others if they use it... If you dont use it, its a cool service, it is free to make playlists and search for different kinds of music and stuff... Here is a link to my page there www.pplaylist.com/user/5235520You can listen to some of the other playlists I have, under the picture it says "view all playlists" If you join or already have an account, add me to your list so I can poke through your songs too!

Let's see......I confess to being into some of the new stuff out. My current favorite band is The Fray. I like Daughtry, Sarah McLaughlin (sp?), Enya, Green Day, even James Blunt ("You're Beautiful" -- that gags my teenagers and hubby). Love some of the classics from the 70's like Fleetwood Mac, Jackson Browne, Dan Fogelberg, Eagles. I like some country, Brad Paisley, Tracey Bird.......LOVE Southern rock like Lynnard Skinnard, Alabama. A lot of jazz makes me nervous and jittery. Hate most rap. There's an occasional song my teenager makes me listen to that's' tolerable. Was very into the alternative, Saffy, before kids came along and I never got to listen to my choices...ya know how that goes!
