Good question, I am sure someone else will have an answer for you here too,,, maybe even different then mine.... The violet breath is used in different forms of reiki, Shamballa MDH, Karuna Reiki, I have even had someone use it in Kundalini,,, there are other modalities that use it in some way as well, but those are the ones off the top of my head... Some even use it in the attunement process, some use it in healing, I guess like anything, take the technique and use it how you feel you need to use it. So what I do, is I stand behind the person, open the crown chakra with my hands and then I stare down in through the crown down the spinal colum and usually when I get to the heart chakra I will start to see a blueish color light, I will watch it as it travels down to your feet and out to mother earth. Then once it is all the way down I will blow onto the crown chakra and as I do that the light starts to turn in a (usually) clockwise direction and turn from blueish to violet and it gets very very bright. I do that for a while and then I bring white energy up from the earth afterwards and close up the crown. It's a cool cleaning technique, and like I said, some attunements use a variation of it also. You can also stand in front of the person and blow from the crown to the root and back up using a violet light in your breath while the crown is still open..... Basically,,, play with those ideas and come back and tell me how you used it I like these kind of topics! ((hugs))

With all Star just said, I have also used it to cleanse crystals in a pinch. With intention to remove imprints and get it ready to program.

Yay! Thanks Ladies. I've heard it mentioned in a few Reiki Master manuals, but no one ever taught me how to use it.

Shawna, that's kind of how I figured it would work, but I'd never had the chance to ask until now..... I really like all of the explainations y'all have provided. Can't wait to experiment! Yup Star, I will let you know how it goes! Thank You!

Hi the Violet Breath like I learned it in France during a traditional Reiki treatment or just as a treatment: -as a treatment: draw a big Dai Ko Mio in front of you, take a step in it,feel the energy -contract your spine(huy yin)and connect your tongue to your teeth upside the mouth -engrave a Dai Ko Mio and a Cho Ku Rei in each of your hands -engrave a CKR on each of your chakra, beginning by the crown chakra -put your hands on the blocked zone of the recipient -make the energy circulate (macrocosmic orbit):each time the symbol is in crown chakra, the white energy makes rotation and becomes a violet cloud above the crown chakra -make 21 rotation -vizualize Dai Ko Mio in this violet cloud -breathe on the blockage decontract huy yin
during a traditionnal treatment: do not interrupt the treatment, when feeling a blockage -make the macrocosmic orbit and so on and then breathe the Violet Breath
