absolutely. whatever way makes you most comfortable. just be careful not to fall asleep. lol. i can happen. i would, that's why i have to sit up with my best posture. but, yes, if you feel most at ease with it, then go for it. to each their own. there's no right or wrong way of it.

Yea you can meditate while walking or really doing anything that doesnt require thought.... You basically want to put your mind into the Alpha state and that will open the doors between you and the spirit realm... You do that just by relaxing yourself, softening your gaze and putting yourself in a "zone" which is really the alpha state.... You can do it sitting, laying, washing dishes, walking or any other mundane task

I meditate lying down because I end up with back and neck pain otherwise, and it works great! Kristi

I was taught that it's helpful if you can to meditate with a straight spine to facilitate energy flow in the body. You can either be lying down or sitting up, but that anyone with injuries should just sit in whatever way they can be comfortable.

I have done it both ways. But I find I'm so tired afterward I usually just fall to sleep. I am collecting pillows and I need just a few more. I will then be able to sit in my chair and the roll out and fall asleep. But Christine, I have heard the same thing. Spine must be straight, but they mentioned something about the meridian. It was so long ago I may have this all wrong.

I've done it lying down, it's much more relaxing that way and has lead to falling asleep but that's obviously what me body needed at the time so it's all good.
