This is my all time favorite quote. I use it often. I've heard Oprah say it many times and it makes a lot of sense.
"When you know better, you do better."
It's the truth! It's connected to the old adage "Knowledge is power." I often tell my students this lecture:
"Knowledge is power. Now that you know, you have the power to do something about it, because, as Oprah says, 'When you know better, you do better.'"
I'm also telling them that excellence is a habit. I don't know who the originator of that quote is, but it's so true! I use that often and have it posted in my classroom. Does anyone know the source?
