I thought that was cool,,,, and I told her I would ask you all and try to identify them for her if we could.... I also told her my payment for identifying them is I can have a few,,, so help me out if you can! I already took one of the ones that are in the lower right corner of the pic,,, I told her that was the downpayment hehehe... I love it,,, its so sweet.... If you need closer pics let me know I'll take them ((hugs and thanks!))

Without holding them and seeing them closer
Brown one - Tiger Iron, is it more gold than brown and have spots of red and gray colors?
The blue does look like Sodalite
The purple one might be an agate
The green might be chrysocolla
I'm not sure about any of these or the others ones..but these are some that stores do put into baggies of goodies.

I think you are right about the bottom left Kristi, now that I look at it closer and with fresh eyes it does look banded like an agate.
So that one I am pretty sure is right,,, the top left though, I dont know if its sodalite,, it looks like it in the pic but looking closer at them one piece looks like sodalite for sure but the others are actually like a deep purple, I shouldnt have grouped them together actually because one is either not the same stone or the others are dyed... Unless sodalite is also deep purple too, I dont know, does it come in purple? Do they ever dye sodalite? If so that is probably what it is...
I will take some better closer pics and show you guys what I mean.... Maybe you are right though about the dying, I never thought of that before... In fact the two on the top right, they look like they could be a dyed agate of some sorts, they have the bands in them like agate does,, i just never saw purple agate like that so i was thrown off, but its probably dye...
Which one do you think might be chrysocolla saffy? The bottom right? And the tiger iron, do you mean the middle bottom single stone? I dont know tiger iron so I will have to find a pic of it to tell...
Thanks for your help,,, I appreciate it,,, thinking about them being dyed really was something I didnt consider before!

Ok I looked up Chrysocolla, and I think your all right about that one... I wasnt sure, but now that I have looked the pictures up I am pretty sure about it... Now I need to read about it because that one was the one I wanted most! I took one of the pieces and put it by the others that are sitting here with me.... I have a habit of picking them up and just holding one or two throughout the day, I notice I am attracted to certain ones on certain days...
I looked up tiger iron and fire agate also and I think the bottom middle looks more like fire agate then tiger iron... She did have a few easy ones in the bag that I didnt take a picture of, hematite, clear quartz and something else, I forget now,,, but I am glad I think I can identify most of them for her now... Thanks!
This was fun,,, and informative actually.... Hmmm, we should quiz one another on stones to see if we can choose them!

Yup I have to agree with the girls. Although I hadn't heard of Tiger Iron, that's a new one for me. They're all pretty though!

The purple ones that look like Sodalite could be Charoite. It's hard to tell form the pic. I don't think Sodalite ever comes in purple. Charoite is fairly expensive, not sure if it would be in a mix like that. I have a Charoite ring, it is one of my favorite stones. Kristi

Charoite would be more brittle looking too, and you're right Kristi it is expensive just to get a small piece. But you never know it certainly could be. I offer up the possibility of Jasper? You can get it in blue and purple...whddya think? And that middle one looks like fire agate the more I look at it.

jasper? possible. actually, jasper has quite a few different 'flavors'. lol. i have several and my son #1 always naturally picks a type of jasper, when i let them pick at the rock shop. he doesn't know what jasper is, really, but when he picks, it's always some type of it. obviously, jasper is a main stone for him. i think i have 5 kinds. (black, spotted, zebra, leopord and.....oh man, i forgot the other one, lol) i like it too. lol.

I agree about the sodalite, I've never heard of it being purple. The 2 purple ones top right looked like dyed quartz. But that comes in so many colors. I also thought if they were transluecent, it was probably a quartz. Jasper comes in so many differt colors, and patterns. Can you put up closer pics?
