Oh my gosh! I just realized I haven't taken a picture to show you gals the one I got for Christmas!! I got a faery wand from my co-worker. It's got a clear quartz pointer on one end and an amethyst pointer on the other....I love it!! Don't know how I want to work with it yet but I love it. I have a selenite/flourite twist wand too that I adore.

Since most of us here are crafty (not just the cunning crafty way either teehee) what is you fave type of craft to do?

Oohh..I love to crochet...mostly rectangular objects such as scarves, blankets and pillow covers & the like. Once in a while I will get really crazy and make some amigurumi (SP?) dolls since they are really easy.

I don't really keep things from my S.O. not really.... tee hee hee. I used to alot when I first began growing spiritually because I wasn't sure what he was ready for. He's been growing alot lately and totally LOVES Wayne Dyer so you girls are in trouble now LOL!

Ok ramble almost done here... I will sometimes buy something and ease him into it. Like oh that? I bought that a month ago. So maybe "keeping by omission" at times.

to answer that.....not most of them. spirituality doesn't really come up much. i think we all keep it private. my sis-in-law is who i share it all with. we're really close.

uhhh............what is/was your mostest favoritest spiritual experience?

My most favorite spiritual experience? Gosh I don't know if I value one more than any other...but I will tell you one that I have a great appreciation for. I had to complete 90 days of meditation in a dark place, like a cave. I had to prepare by making my room completely dark, pinning a sheet over the closed window to make it extra dark. I had to find a raven's feather, which was the hardest part. I searched and prayed and it finally came to me. I had to wear an obsidian pendant everyday, and during the meditation, take it off and hold it. The first day, I had to begin at sunrise. The 90th day, at midnight. Days 2-89 I could do it anytime of the day. I had to sit in the dark, listen to flute music, hold the raven's feather in one hand and the obsidian in the other, and wait until I saw or heard something. Once I did, I had to log it in a journal. I had to do this every single day for 90 straight days! It was an amazing and powerful experience and it prepared me for so many things, including Reiki and channeling. It opened me up to other realms and energies. The feather and obsidian were my tools of protection. I love them both, especially the feather. During those 90 days I saw so many things! Angels, visions, images, energies moving through the completely dark space...it was one of the greatest gifts I've received and I'm so grateful for it.

ok, i'll answer next and then someone else can, cuz i'd love to hear more. ok, i agree about not favoring one more than another, but i have a couple. when my youngest son was 13 months old he had a couple of strange ceizures and there was no rhyme or reason to it. i freaked out and took him in to the doc, of course. they did a spinal tap and took blood and all that and couldn't figure it out. then, he had another when we were about to leave, so they admitted him. we stayed there for two days and nights and the whole time he had a fever of 103 to 104 which scared the pure crap out of me at his age. i was so scared of brain damage or even death. since they couldn't even break the temp at all and 48 hours of this i decided i had to pray, naturally. i cried and prayed for my son's life and health. i aske the Divine to send my peepaw and any other angels and spirits that She could spare to help him. almost immediately, i felt them! i opened my eyes and was suddenly calm. i 'felt' them so strongly that i could 'see' them with my mind, if ya know what i mean. the room was FULL. my peepaw was on the other side of the crib and the others were standing all through the room; to the door, behind me, next to me. i had one on one side of me and two on the other and i could feel that they were there for me and all of them were there for my son. all of them looked alike, with thier glowing golden figures, but i knew in my heart who my peepaw was and i knew there were differences between the others, but they were the most heavenly beings i have ever seen. i dunno how long they were there; coulda been a couple minutes coulda been an hour. time had stopped. then, at some point, a nurse knocks on the door and comes in to take his temp and miraculously it had dropped to only 100. it spiked up here and there after that, but it wasn't so steady and scary after that. then, we were sent to the university, which is a better and more knowledgable hospital, and they kept him for a couple more days, but he kept getting better and better. i knew it was Divine help and i felt, right then, that there are miracles, there are angels, prayers get answered and i was blessed to actually see this happen!!

Ok mine would have to be....

(and sorry for those of you who are tired of hearing this)

I was really really sick. I was bed ridden with Fibromyalgia and had a terrible Staph infection. I was getting migraine after migraine. I honestly wanted to die and feel like I was dying. I was very very sick.

I reached out to a friend to send Reiki. I started healing and getting better. I started saying prayers and positive affirmation tat my friend had helped me with.

Well on this one night I saw a "Being of Light" I think now it was an Angel. I felt surrounded by Love. Like Unconditional, Baby Wrapped in it's Mommy's arms kind of Loved! I was directed to Be still (although the instructions weren't spoken but heard if that makes sense)... I was told this would be completed in 2 minutes and to remember to breath.

At that point I froze! Like my whole body went numb like I was under anesthetic. I panicked! I was awake but I couldn't move! Then I was reminded to breath and not panic and started to breath.

Here is harder to explain.

My body then started to like work all together like a machine and I could feel these pulses of energy from one pressure point to the next like humming and humming energy through my body. Totally weird. Can't explain it and I don't know what was done.

But when it was done. It was nothing short of a biblical miracle. Like the Flare that had lasted 2 years just stopped. My muscles felt loose and the knots released the staph was gone totally with in a matter of days after that. What had taken the Doctors 5 months to treat (the staph that is) was gone in less than 2 weeks. So very quick for something like that.

I haven't had a "flare" since. I mean pain yes... Flare no. So yeay!

So that said.

Prior to that I had been in denial that things like this even exist. Now you can't convince me other wise.

The one that stands out for me is the one that made me stop and regroup my life. Of course, it took me a while to believe.

There were 3 drastic life changes with 90 days. One of which, I was pregnant. I was 41. No not planned. Well, during the pregnancy I seriously hurt my back. I had to wait one year before they would even think of having anything done.

Finally I did and had to go straight to surgery. If you rate it on a scale of 1-10, doc said mine was a 9. So, I was really scared about the surgery. Because of my mom's death, I had heard that if you receive a flower during a stressful time, everything will be ok. I was in the corner stall waiting for my surgery. I thought about that and a nurse came in and we got to talking. I gave her a coin of an Angel I had and thought nothing about it. She came back in a few minutes and gave me a book marker that she called a Jacob's Ladder (a flower) I cried.

Then the surgery...I guess it was ok. When I was in the recovery room. All I remember is being warm, and like I was in a white cloud. Very bright, but it didn't hurt to look. I could feel people around me but couldn't really see anyone, but felt so close and warm. I remember hearing the nurse saying something about getting her back (I may have heard it wrong), but the next thing I know I am waking up and I was so mad. I cussed the nurse that I wanted to go back. I was freezing and I mean freezing. They put 5 warm blankets on me and I was still shaking.

After the surgery and with everything else that happened wiithin the last year, I went into deep depression for a couple years. I kept thinking about that.

I did find Star shortly after that and I got one attunement. I tried to get another from someone else and it didn't feel right.

One thing in the last couple of years that seems to stick out for me is that though I was on the path with Angels cards and crystal work, I still had no real direction. Know what I mean? But on our way home from vacation in October, we were on the ferry and (of all places ) I walk to the washroom and just as I'm about to go do my thing I hear to ladies talking about my home town and what they plan to go check out. SO of course I have to step in and tell them a little bit about Yarmouth. Anyway, after a half hour in the washroom no less I find that one lady is healer with music and uses her flute, and has and was going to be playing and demonstrating at Acadia University (where I graduated I might add...always connections) The other lady Teddy as she liked to be called, I was completely drawn to her. First because I liked the sound of her voice, two she had a moon tattoo on her forehead. You guessed it, she was a High Priestess Druid. I talked to her the entire trip! I felt safe and comfortable in her presence, like she was who I needed to meet right then at that point in my life. I have to give credit to her for pointing me in the direction I am now, if not I'm sure I would gotten into Reiki sometime down the line, but not like I did and then I may not have found all of you!! And that is just too sad to think about!
