My favoritest spiritual experience was when I was waking up from anesthesia after a semi-minor surgery, in March, 2004. I felt like I was not awake, yet I was aware of being in a dark, warm, comfortable place. Couldn't see a thing, although I could hear people around me talking. Then, a light shone in front of me, and suddenly I was aware that I was looking at myself, kneeling, enfolded in the wings of a beautiful angel who was leaning over me. I saw the angel's wings open up, and then I got a better look at what the angel had been "protecting" with his wings...yep, that was me all right. Then, in the blink of an eye, the recovery room nurse was leaning over me, telling me that it was 3 o'clock, and she was going to take me to my hospital room. Bleah...just like that it was over......But hat's only half the story.
Ten days later, I was on my last days of medical leave from work, and I found myself in the hands of a very wonderful Reiki practitioner. This was my very first time I ever received Reiki. The practitioner was discussing my personal angels and spirit guides, introducing me, so to speak, to my guide....a young Native American woman who was telling me to lighten up, take things less seriously...if I hear vague laughter or giggles, that's her trying to make herself known...she is with me all the time...yada yada yada....then the Reiki master said something that really got my attentiion. She said...."now your guide is saying something about feathers......" And wham! It all came back to me....I remembered the angel wings I had seen in the recovery toom ten days prior, along with a couple of other happenings that occured just prior to my surgery which are too hard to explain on a message board....anyway, that is the moment when I realized that I had a path to follow, and I'd better hop on and pay attention. I will never forget those experiences for as long as I am in this life.
Whew.....that was a long one....
I'm gonna ask another question, since this one went a few days with no response, I think everyone who's going to reply already has...sorry if I missed anyone!
Q: how many Angels have you seen?
