Apache Tear

I went to the local woo-woo shop today to look for a few last minutes presents to buy for other,,, of course I had to endulge in a few little pretties myself... I couldnt help it,,, I know I am bad,,, but I did get my stuff bought too.



Anywho this is one of them, its an Apache Tear, its really cool! I didnt have one and I couldnt put it down, well I still cant cause here I am posting this! So this is my little baby and here is something interesting I found online about it too... I am going to connect myself a little more with the stone and write something myself about it for my website...
Apache Tear

The Legend of the Apache Tear is this:

One day a party of Apache Indians was ambushed by an enemy tribe. The Apaches fought bravely but were greatly outnumbered and driven to the top of a high bluff. Their arrows gone and unable to fight and unwilling to be taken captive, they leapt from the cliffs to their death. Their women were understandably grief-stricken and wept over the bodies. Their teardrops froze when they hit the ground to become the lovely stones we know today as Apache Tears. It is said that whomever owns one of these stones will never cry again, for the Apache women shed enough tears already.
Apache Tears are said to especially relieve grief and sadness as well as assisting in giving and accepting forgiveness. They can help release negative emotions, and they also can balance one's emotional state. They are good luck stones, said to bring good luck to anyone who has one. They are excellent meditation tools, especially for clarifying issues and gaining insight. Apache Tears are a gently grounding stone. In the physical realm, Apache Tears are reputed to alleviate muscle spasms and eliminate toxins from the body.

This is like the perfect stone for me right now. I have been rather emotional this week because my back has been having muscle spasms. And I have really been trying to remain grounded. It was so cool when I saw it, it was like, thats the stone I NEED right now, and I didnt even know what it meant, I just knew I needed it! I love how that happens. I have some other rocks that I got today,,, I will share pics in another post

Yea, what is super cool about this that I found out after writing this is,,,, it totally looks opaque when you look down at it. I mean it looks as opaque as any plain black old rock, BUT if you look at it up to the light you will actually see that it is transparent! I just LOVE this rock,,, been holding it pretty much since I got it hehehehe.

Oh yes I totally reccomend this one to anyone... I have been carrying my tear around with me constantly... She talks to me sometimes and tells me when she needs to have a break and chill in my purse when we are out hehehe,,, sounds funny but shes been with me almost everywhere since I got her... Now when I leave Im like, ok, got my cell phone, keys, ipod, apache tear..... I just love this one

I here I might be getting one soon. I thought I may have one, but at closer look, through the window, it is not transluent, so it might be tekite, I'm going to check. The apache tears look so cool.

Ha Ha pet rock...I'll admit I had one. But I think I got a lazy one, it didn't do anything, including eat. What a sad day it was to bury it. I think it is much happier now.

yea i actually am known to take my rocks with me places... but this one is like seriously attached to me,,, i dont mind tho,,, usually I stuff them in the you-know-where-spot but this one i like to hold on to and just put in my purse when shes tires of being held hehehehe... its funny cause my daughter and i were talking about it and she calls them "travelers" just like me,,, hmmm wonder where she got that from lol,,,, some of my rocks like to go places, some like to be held when i sleep, some like to be around me when i work etc.... they really do have minds and energies of their own hehehe

i'm the same way. i'm very decisive on what stone/crystal necklace i wear every day and i keep certain stones with me constantly. i keep certain ones in my car, too. i guess i'm a typical stone worker, though, like you; they play a part in my life every single day. lol.

Same here, always have one or two with me and a few a permanent travelers in my car.
