just a quick FYI, (hope most of you see this) there is a lunar eclipse in the morning around 5:30ish. i'll already be up, so i'll be sure to catch it (i love keeping up with the moon's rotation). thought i'd share in case anyone else will be up around then. it's suppose to be a full moon, but when it eclipses, it'll slowly fade to dark and then show back up after a while. ok, just sharing! ~hugsies~

Could you see it in Australia? I know solar eclipses are only for certain areas on the earth but I dont know about lunar eclipses....
I saw it, my daddy called me and told me to meet him out back and we sat on the swing watching it... It was cool... Then later in the morning we talked to my grandma on the phone, she was telling me when she was a little girl there was a solar eclipse and she was at the park with her little brothers and sisters and they were freaking out thinking the end of the earth was near! It was funny to think that,,, but really they didnt even have TV's back then so I can see someone in that day and age just not knowing any better....
The eclipse today was great though!

Yeah, it was on the news here when I got home, and apperantly you could see it quite well. The moon turned blood red. Would have loved to have seen it.

It was HUGE and it was wonderful to see. Wish I had had a working camera to take pics.

I missed it... I was sleeping my head off LOL. My older son and Chris got out with the telescope. How cute is that?
I've been so tired lately I knew if I got up I wouldn't make it through the day at work. Saw some cool pics of it on the news though. Hey Might check the internet for some since I missed it.
I bet it was really cool to see live though.

Well, I will get up early to Reiki the Earth grid, but I missed that eclipse. Pre-dawn comes too early for me! LOL

Oh wow,,, I just remembered there is a solar eclipse on the 11th,,, which is the day of my surgery... It is only viewable by South America, Antarctica and the South Atlantic so I wont be seeing it,,, but it is cool that it is on the same day as my surgery...

My hubby saw it the day before the full moon and he went on and on about it. He never does this unless it is a video game. So the next morning, I got up at 4:30 and it was so awesome. I don't remember seeing anything like it.

Yea we are too far north Faery to see the solar eclipse.... Too bad,,, not that I would be in any shape to go out and see it, I will be having my operation at that time but it would be cool if you all could see it for me and tell me how cool it was hehehehe
