Lately I have passed through some areas (towns) that have very bad energy. I had a KR123 attunement a few months ago and decided to put it to the test. I thought to myself can land , mountains, air, water, etc be attuned to Reiki? So I put my hands on opposite sides of the wheel while driving and simply intended and visualised an attunement to the area I was driving through for a 100 mile radius. We drove through the same area a week later and the energy completely changed. For those of you familiar with what a Reiki charged room feels like and looks like this is what my wife and myself witnessed. Instead of a room it was the mountains and air all around us as we drove through. It felt and looked like hyper-reality if that makes sense, nature in High Definition! I know this sounds outrageous but this energy has no limits! We are the ones that put the limits on what this energy can do. I did the same with my city a few days ago, same results, crisp, clean, look and feel to the area.
Thanks Steve

What a very cool idea, I am going to have to try it myself! I have Reiki-ed my house and rooms many times but never really thought about doing it to a whole city!

It will be a very empowering experience when you see it with your own eyes! You can attune the places where you shop and place huge Ethereal Crystals over them (Walmart could use a massive rose quartz!), whatever feels right and for the highest good of all.

Oh I like it! Like Star I've done my house and rooms and even the same for where I work but not something on such a grand scale. You are so right though, we're only limited by our own imagination to what we can use the energy for. I really like the idea of driving and leaving a "trail" of reiki behind/around, that's awesome. Thanks for the idea Steve!

I am for sure going to do this soon,,, I love the town I live in but who cant use Reiki, right? I often do this to my house and I have sent the attunement to my house with the intention that it flows with Reiki through it and while being in it,, but the whole town,,, why not, right? We are for sure only limited by our thoughts,,, such a great idea! Thanks again Steve!

So has anyone tried attuning their town/city? What have you noticed?
I notice that nature readily absorbs and often amplifies this energy. People can be more challenging to heal as you are often dealing with emotional/physical blockages that can lock in bad energy. But nature takes Reiki and runs with it!

I like that idea too. I have used it at my house of course, but I have done it in other rooms I felt were stagnant, but never an area like that. What a cool idea. Can you imagine how much better each city/town would be if we had people all over doing this.

I've tried it while driving to work. It made it a more pleasant drive and something I noted and I'm sure it's just coincidence but all the same, after doing it the past few days it's been raining here and all I could think was it was a washing away of the negative energy around here. Does that make sense at all?

For sure it does! I dont do it as often as I used to, I use another method of cutting myself off from someone after doing Reiki on them (dry bathing) but washing your hands is a wonderful way to cut the energy off and purify it. When I do wash my hands after doing Reiki on someone, I imagine the negative energy just flowing down the drain into mother earth where she turns it into positive energy

Ya when I was first taught Reiki my teacher actually suggested washing your hands (literally) after a session or even imagine a fire and throwing all the "extra" -cutting yourself from the client into the fire. So now the more I think on, the rain after doing the drive by attuning makes sense that it's washing away the negative to mother earth to be changed into positive...I like it!

Sometimes I send Reiki to a place, especially places that have been affected by a natural disaster. It does feel like it changes the energy a little. I've done that recently with Burma and China.
On the other part of this topic, I believe Reiki is a one-way street: the Reiki energy flows in through us and into the client. I usually feel better afterwards myself. I don't think we take on other people's energy after treating them (or put our own junk into them!). Other kinds of energy healing are different and do require the healer to take on some of the client's energy. To me Reiki is pure love so we don't need to worry about energy cords and so forth.
With readings I usually do something after the client leaves to "conclude" the reading. Sometimes I'll just Reiki the cards I read with and the room I'm in or call on Archangel Michael to help clear everything.

I agree, reiki is a one way street, but I also know that just being around some people and being in their aura I feel certain vibrations and energies. You know,,, like the person that your around and you just feel drained from being around them? I think disconnecting from people is very important,,, at least for me

I believe disconnecting is important to. I am usually a sponge when I out and about and I have to block myself. I never thought about a dry bath. I'll try that next time.
Today I went shopping and with the holiday everyone was in a hurry and the shelves were not filled and people were angry. I noticed I was getting angry too. I stopped and took a few breathes and felt much better. But it happened again before I left. I'll wash off other's energies now....what a great idea.
Now that I think of it, I should have sent Reiki to the whole store. Didn't someone else in this thread mentioned Wally World and sending Reiki to it? I should have taken that opportunity.

Oh, I totally get what you mean about picking up people's energy...it's just that Reiki is the one time I don't feel that, I think because the Reiki energy is so powerful. I notice people's energy a lot at parties, to the point where someone I don't really even know will give me this feeling where I just have to get away from them...it's weird because in other situations like stores or crowds I don't notice it as much. I wonder if alcohol is a factor at all.

I didn't drink before I went to the store Christine.
Really, I know what you mean. I think it would make some changes in their aura. I don't know if I am right, but I think it would change the aura. That is a great question. Any one?

Yes, I send Reiki to the place I am going before I get there. Hold Wamart between your hands and send. If you are a Reiki master then you can send an attunment before you get there. Not the people, just the place. That's what I do. If you happen to get any any nasty vibes at parties you can send Reiki to the collective conciousness of the party with one hand. Imagine a ball of light in your hand representing the CC of the party or even everybody at Wallyworld or Starbucks or wherever. The minute you do it watch for laughter, smiles, changes in people demeanor and complexions. You can kick it up a notch by holding a crystal and sending through the crystal as crystals are intention amplifiers. If you want to go even faster breath in and vortex energy up your legs all the way up to head, down your arms and into the crystal along with Reiki. In this way I have completely changed the vibe at any store I shop at. And parties? Fugetaboutit!. Of course intend for the highest good of all and only to people that want good energy. The results will astound you.
Blessings Steve

Although I've never "attuned" a large place per se I have attuned a stone and placed it in a area in my neighborhood where I felt negativity asking that the stone serve the highest intention in that area. I felt this helped. I have "activated the glass" in large area's (connect with and reiki the glass as you would a stone) for the highest good in my home stores and my place of work. I think the intention is the same and the outcome equal. Or so this is how it felt to me. Stones are good for holding the energy in my humble opinion. I've also placed Reiki symbols on job applications in the past with the intention for the outcome to be for the highet good with pretty cool results. For Christine: I feel alcohol IS a huge factor. My first Reiki Teacher directed me to steer clear from using Reiki within 24 hours of drinking more than two glasses of wine. Keeping in mind intention is key and fear or belief in these things cannot exsist if we stay in the light at all times. However, I do feel it "muddy's" the energy. It is also my belief that alcohol is called "spirits" for a reason. I think excessive drinking draws negative energy to the body and have also felt a shift in certain people's energy while drinking was going on. From a Shamanic Standpoint certain beliefs are that drinking opens an individual up to spiritual attachments that later need to be cut and removed. It is said these attachments can travel with the individual through repeated lifetimes. For example while the person is drinking they might not seem "themself" ... some believe they actually might not "be there" someone else - on a spirit level - may have taken the opportunity to "walk in" while their guard was down. If that makes sense. Again these are just my personal opinions and what I've been taght or picked up along the way. Having grown up in an alcoholic home and feeling a person's energy shift once alcohol was involved... makes sense to me. Ok ramble central out!
