No, its not spinal or garnet.... Actually one of the big clues as to which stone this is,,, is the shape of the formations... they are either octahedral or hexagonal crystals... I seem to be likeing these square type crystals recently! It is not a super rare gem but it is not extremely common either... I figured this would help us learn new stones! (I really liked the metaphysical properties of this stone!)

yeah, the formations are rather familiar, but i'm still at a loss...........neh, not citrine, i don't think. i have a large cluster of citrine and it doesn't seem to have that formation......now i'm just gonna HAVE to get my books and do some research like in school. lol. see, i new this would be a good idea to keep our stoneminds working. lol. rhodochrosite? it looks similar to raw rhodo..... uh........ruby? how bout vanadinite? ok, those are my last guesses. lol. man, this is driving me nutty. lolol......but i like it!

I know what you mean Aura. I've been going through my head and trying to figure out the formation. There are a few I know, but this one looks so familiar, but I can't pinpoint it.
I'll get my book out too.

The pictures are of the same kind of stone... Just to give you different pictures to go on... Ok that said, ding ding ding ding we have a winner and no its not citrine,,, citrine forums crystals like quartz these are wayyy different,,, see the hexagon shapes? I figure we can do the mystery stone like this,,, leme know if you agree... I started this and well since Aura is out winner then she gets to post a new thread with mystery stone #2... And the next person who gets the stone gets to post Mystery Stone #3... and it goes down the line like that... Sound good? Good! Ok, have I left you all in suspense long enough??? It is vanadinite,,, and here is what the metaphysical properties of vanadinite are... Gem Lore: Vanadinite is an excellent stone for people who have problems accepting their physicality. It has a strong connection with the earth chakra in the earth body beneath the feet. This stone has the useful property of curbing overspending. Vanadinite is useful for breathing difficulties such as asthma and congested lungs. It facilitates the practice of circular breathing. Vanadinite treats chronic exhaustion and bladder problems. What is interesting to me is that I was drawn to this crystal for some reason, I had no idea why but I was, and a few days ago I started the thread asking which stones you use for the root chakra because I was thinking about using the snowflake obsidian in the earth charka... Ok,,, Aura,,, your next!!

Oh and I also want to add that this makes a great elixir for people that are suffering some sort of breathing problem,,, ONLY it is poisonous so dont drink it! Just make the elixir the indirect way, like putting it near a glass of water, or in a glass within a glass...
